Final Words on Produce 48
As a comparison to the actual events of Produce 48, all the vote counts listed in the previous chapter are correct. I modified the rankings a bit due to what I considered to be changed because of Iris.
Additionally, since this is a fan-fiction anyway, I also altered what I thought to be more fair while still keeping all of the actually debuted members except for Hyewon (since that's necessary to change for Iris to debut lol).
1)
Sakura as first to balance out Nako who I dropped two ranks right next to the last Japanese trainee Hitomi. MNET promised an international competition and group folks! So at least make the first place a Japanese trainee if there are only three total out of twelve in the group, *cough*.
Also, she was so popular throughout on the show, so I don't logically see how she's not first. So many of the Iz*One members jumped up so many ranks to debut.

Connected to 1, a girl who just turned 14 years old on the final episode and was 13 for the whole rest of the competition? Ahem. Nope. Sorry. Nada. Not happening in this fictional world. No offense to the girlie, but giving the center position to her is just..... Let's just say she's not center worthy *cough* in comparison to her Produce predecessors.
She's very pretty and youthful, but she's way too young really to support the weight of that top position. (In general, most of the IZ*ONE girls are really young, on average, 17 years of age. It's 18 Korean age, so I guess I'll let certain somethings slide, but for Wonyoung, and even Yujin who was 14 and then 15 the next day after the last episode apparently, the sexualization leaves a bad taste....)
Lastly, Wonyoung doesn't have any stand out skills or charisma like Jeon Somi and Kang Daniel. The same could be said for Sakura, but she does in fact have more charisma in my opinion. Idk, personal opinion, but mostly Sakura as first is due to reason 1.

Iris as second place. At first I was just going to simply swap Hyewon's eighth rank for Iris. It's also a nice tie back to my ranking in the BTS competition since Iris would be 8th just as I was 8th. XD
But after debating for a while, and studying the patterns of the top 12, I figured that it wouldn't make sense for Iris to suddenly drop in rank. I also weighed what I imagined to be less screen time for other trainees to be given to Iris because the storyline that MNET gave changed to be somewhat skewed towards Iris.
By having her be in A-class and other group stages, she knew many of the top and popular trainees. Thus, she was affiliated with them. But I won't deny that it's also just fun for suspense. If she was eight place, it wouldn't be as suspenseful because she would be called up much quicker. XD
4)
Other shifts in real life rankings. I would've moved Eunbi higher because of her friendship with Iris. Thus, they had a larger storyline on the show, and if you know MNET, they looove a good story. However, I figured since she's popular enough already, and the jump in votes from her and Nako (who was one above her in reality) are somehow high, her staying in 7th place actually already is a jump considering the shifts of the other girls.
Chaeyeon as 12th is just a great ender. However, her talent is arguably first place worthy.

Anyway, that's it I guess. Onward to the new arc that probably has romance. Hehe. ;)
I'll continue doing time skips in this segment as well due to the 2.5 years Iz*One debut contract.
