The streets of Undercity have surprisingly grown safe under Vander's care.

Well, safe for a slum district. There is still poverty, the occasional muggings, a few small-time gangs, and the still present black market. But all of this is at a level incomparable to 4 and a half years ago, before Vander's recreation of the underground.

That is why Harry and Petunia were currently walking casually down to Benzo's shop to see if Dudley wants to join them in going up to Topside for Progress Day.

Petunia decided to take Harry to it because she both felt a bit homesick for Earth and thinks a festival might help, and because she knows that there's an electronics tent being set up and thinks Harry might enjoy it.

Powder might enjoy going as well, but she's currently sick after literally sticking a bug called a firelight into her mouth due to a dare from Ekko.

So here they currently were, walking into Benzo's.

"Hello Benzo, is Dudley around by chance?" Petunia asks smiling politely.

Benzo shivers, "I've told you before, don't speak like that. It reminds me of the few Topside suckers that come to my shop."

"But you're taking care of my Dudders, how could I not be respectful to you?" Petunia says with a skewed smirk showing the truth that she was doing it on purpose to make him uncomfortable.

"I told you not to call me that!" comes a yell from the next room.

Petunia's smirk becomes even more slanted as she hears Dudley, "Aww, has my little Dudders grown up?"

"I told you when I started learning how to fight from Vander, I'm an adult now! So, stop calling me that!" Dudley continues his grumbling as he walks into the room.

A warm smile forms on Petunia's face, "So, you want to come up with us to see what a Progress Day is like?"

"What, but I wanted to test out the shield Harry made me…" he groans

Harry looks at him confused, "But I gave you that months ago?"

"And it's amazing, No longer am I overpowered by Vi and the others with it! I can't stop playing with it!" Dudley cheers.

When Dudley started learning to fight with Vander on his 10th birthday, we all quickly figured something out, Dudley can't get as strong as everyone else. Even Powder can almost lift the same amount as him.

Harry's the same, but having magic helps in that regard.

So, to fix this issue of strength potential for Dudley.

Harry with the help of Powder and a few books on body replacements, managed to make a shield that pushed alongside the holder. It even manages to redivert some of the force put into it from any punches and shots with a pneumatic cushion that deflates with the hits.

The shield looks like a metal Piltover flag with a few pipes sticking out the side where gas is released from the deflation. A constant thrumming from a generator, and a few tubes and containers holding the green/yellowish energy liquid.

Petunia looks slightly disappointed at Dudley's refusal, "Fine, you can stay here… Come on Harry, let's go."

"Okay…"

They quickly leave and make their way to the Uppercity.

As they cross over the closest bridge Petunia pauses and pays respects. Even with years passed, she still has nightmares of the bodies and fire on the bridge.

They quickly arrive at the festival and get into the flow of it quickly. Harry saw many different, yet amazing things.

He saw a few animatronics, a new type of Airship that had an engine that was practically silent, a guy screaming about something called an integrated circuit, and a girl trying to show off some flying boots that blew up when they were tested.

They continue going from invention to invention. They made their way to a place devoted to just the progress on electronics. There, Harry had started talking to a few people, he learnt so much from these conversations.

Harry becomes inspired from this and still being the child he is, starts growing restless in anticipation for getting home.

"Can we go home now?" Harry questions Petunia with wide eyes obviously trying to weaponize his childish cuteness against her.

Petunia looks at his manipulative face fighting back against it and manages to shake her head, "No, we are here for the festival. This happens only once every year, so we are going to see all of it including the fireworks tonight."

Harry's cute front collapses and then he starts whining in defeat, "but that's hours away…"

They walk off into the festival, Petunia not paying attention to Harry's whining, while Harry continues doing so behind her.

As the day goes on Harry slowly grows more and more fidgety.

At some point he pulls his electro-gloves out from his pocket and starts playing with them behind Petunia's back.

At some point during the fidgeting, he accidentally touches the two gloves together without thinking.

Sparks fly out from the gloves and a small zap sounds off, this grasps Petunia's attention.

Without missing a beat, he channeled all his previous experiences at being caught by her and quickly manages to swiftly switch the gloves off and shove them in his pocket before Petunia fully turned to him.

"What was that?" Petunia asks with a raised eyebrow.

"N-Nothing!" Harry stammers all too quickly.

Petunia's already raised eyebrow increases in skepticism, "U-huh."

Harry starts looking around for anything that could help him.

His gaze settles on a lone short yet clocked figure, "Hey look, another kid!" He says shifting the focus.

Petunia falls for the bait and looks over at the supposed kid, "They're all alone, lets go see if they need help."

Petunia walks up to the figure and quickly finds out that they're literally the size of a toddler.

She knees down and softly asks, "Are you lost, do you need my help to find your parents?"

The figure turns towards her revealing a face that quickly brought all thought in Petunia's head to a halt except one relating to a movie she begrudgingly went to see with her friends awhile back, 'He looks like a furry Yoda!'

"Oh no, I'm quite alright fair lady. I am not lost, And I am not in need of any parental figures at this time." the short, furry, humanoid says with hint of humour in his voice.

Petunia quickly realizes that she was surprisingly talking to a fully grown person. "Oh, I'm so sorry, I thought you were lost and younger," she tries to clarify.

"Oh, do not worry. This is in fact not the first time someone confused me for one much younger thanks to my short stature," the obviously intellectual inventor says. He then starts to lightly chortle, "it really is funny because I'm 301 years old."

That age in of itself amazes Petunia, but knowing that spirits exist in this world, she can accept it. The first time she found out that a god like spirit of wind saved Undercity more by themselves from the fissure toxins getting everywhere a hundred years ago still amazes her still years after she learnt it.

There's even an entire religion towards this spirit god called Janna fueling her apparent divinity!

Coming back to the current, Petunia awkwardly chuckles at the absurdity of this all.

The furry ancient one nods to her and Harry, "well, there's still much more to see here. I wish you both a delightful Progress Day," and with that he waddles off into the crowd.

It was then that she realized that the man hadn't once made notice of their obvious Undercity clothing. Everyone else that comes within ten feet of them either holds their nose or glares at them like they did something unbecoming.

Even with this though, the festival passes with smiles and happiness from both. in the afternoon, they watch as the Topsider's all go to see the speech from the founder of Piltover.

"Harry, do you want to go in and see the speech or stay out here and watch the fireworks?" Petunia asks with a bright smile due to her own excitement for seeing fireworks again.

Harry looks up at Petunia, "Its obvious, I want to see fireworks!" He cheers.

So that's what they do. They move to an open courtyard and watch the sky get filled with a verity of beautiful fireworks.

After the fireworks finish, Petunia guides them slowly back into the streets towards Undercity.

This was an amazing day for them, especially Harry.

Harry, still in an amazing mood from the fireworks starts running and being hyperactive through the streets.

Petunia watches this with maternal affection from the wholesome scene.

Harry, still acting hyperactive, runs around the corner of the alley straight into someone.

Said person turned out to be one of two Enforcers patrolling the streets.

The one Harry knocked into looks down at Harry who had fallen onto his ass from the collision.

"What are you two trencher trash doing up here?" they ask.

"Wanting some easy night-time looting while everyone else is at the speech?" the other spits with more than a touch of revulsion.

Petunia doesn't move an inch, as one cautiously walks towards Petunia pulling out a baton.

Harry seeing this pushes himself between her and the enforcer with stretched out arms, "Leave her alone!"

Petunia, seeing a masked enforcer for the first time in years, is terrified, breathing chaotically, and visibly shaking. She's having a panic attack.

"Get out of the way scum, I'll deal with you later." encroaching Enforcer snarls as he pushes Harry to the side. "You really think you could come up here and ruin our Progress Day, even after how the last time you Trenchers came up here?" he continues with a snarl showing off a deep hatred.

The other starts cheering on their partner. Harry watches as the Enforcer raise his baton preparing to strike her.

Harry, seeing this feels the distinct snapping out of his magic. the effect of this was that Harry suddenly found himself wearing his gloves.

Seeing that he can help, he jumps in front of the Enforcer, raises his now crackling hands and presses them to the man's chest.

Harry, being in the moment doesn't realize the crackling being louder than it should.

Next second Harry's hands start pumping electricity through their upper chest. Crackling sounds out and they start spasming along with it, then the Enforcer just drops away from the gloves falling towards the hard paved ground like a sack of bricks. as he falls, his mask slips off, revealing the shocked face of a black haired young nineteen looking man.

As the man slams into the floor his eyes stay looking up stuck in the shocked expression. they look unfocused and glassy. a few seconds pass with everyone staring down at the man only to notice two things. One is that the man's eyes are not blinking, two is his obvious lack of breath.

Harry had just killed an Enforcer.

The cliffhanger is needed for suspense, don't hate me for it.
