I knew it the moment I saw it first. I knew it had a purpose in this whole story, maybe because it showed a place, and secondly, dad sent it. He wasn't a kind of a person who sent pictures or things to others, but he did, and that was the first time it clicked. Now, I knew that it clicked right.

Pulling it and getting it down on the floor, I looked at it carefully, touching its frame's every edge and curve. This picture was hanging on the curve of the stairs. It was a tapestry, framed in glass and wood.

By the time I stopped examining its front, Leo was there, sitting beside me. He looked confused.

"This can help us," I said, pointing the pitch of my voice towards the living room, "Dad, can you please come upstairs. I... We need you!" I looked back at the picture.
