Chapter 9

Adoneous pulled Neiveil back into his realm and moved out after pocketing his dorm cube. He slowly trudged along the well maintained campus road while looking about for the first time.

When he neared the statue of the founder, he noticed Belord already standing there. Nodding once towards Adoneous as if to acknowledge his presence, he went back to staring into space. Adoneous also responded in kind.

Soon the other four three gathered and then Belord started to speak.

"Freshmen at the BIA get 100 credit points a month. They can challenge a pocket world once every 2 weeks. The credits can be used only for resources and beast eggs. Make sure to attend your classes, they start next week. "

Adoneous nodded. It was time to visit the virtual shop inside the dorm cube. Making his way back he instantly ptojected his consciousness into the dorm cube. A voice rang out.

"Access granted. Entering virtual shop space."

When he opened his eyes, a virtual screen was displayed with various categories. There were skeletons, eggs, beast entrails, beast meat, all of which were for the aid of the growth of beasts. Adoneous was tempted to but the skeleton of a full grown dragon which would help Neiveil grow tremendously, but he was short of about a million credits. Oh the misery of being poor.

After choosing a relatively good looking egg, he slowly retracted his consciousness. Just as he was about to lie down and have a nap, the bell rang.

Opening it, he found it was a parcel with a drone. Instinctively knowing what to do, he waved his dorm cube in front of it and drown dropped the parcel and went back. Opening the package as he went back inside, he found it to be the egg he had bought, heavily packaged.

Sitting down in the centre of his dorm, in a familiar way he reached out his consciousness, and an infant will reached out to him. Slowly the egg cracked and a small fawn git out and leaped at him in joy. He was just the counter of Neiveil. Adoneous chuckled. The fawn was a light blue in colour and pitch black eyes with no distinguishable eyeballs. Adoneous grinned once more.
