Coming out of the chamber after telling my mother I was fine, I was confronted with a beautiful sight, from my memories as a Na'Vi I knew that some tribes lived in large trees, similar to Hometree, the giant tree in which the Omaticaya tribe lived, and while Hometree was a magnificent tree, it did not compare to the sight of the tree in front of it.

Which to the naked eye was over 200 meters, it was a great tree, and remembering his teachings with his mother and father he knew that the tree was over 30,000 years old, serving all of them as a shelter and home to the tribe in which based on the memories of this body he had spent 16 years.

Thinking about his memories as a human in his old world, he couldn't help but shed a few tears, although he had never had a family since he had lived his childhood in an orphanage, that didn't stop him from missing those few people who occupied a space in his heart.

Especially the matron of the orphanage, who gave him the tools and support to become one of the greatest Zoologists of his native country, and seeing the world he was in now, he couldn't help but get a little excited, since for someone like him, a person who loves nature, its changes, its biology, its evolution, the behavior and life of animals, being in this world was like giving a child's favorite gift.

Walking in the direction of the common area of the tribe, which was located in the center of the big tree, Aleyx could see the daily life of the tribe, how the hunters brought the parts of their prey, the mothers feeding their children, and the children running and playing everywhere, it was a magnificent and charming view of how a tribe lived in harmony with nature.

Everywhere Aleyx walked all the members of the clan showed him respect, since he was the next Olo'eyktan, something that Aleyx was not yet used to, sure, in his world he had people who looked at him with respect since he was their faculty teacher, but having students respect you, to getting the respect of over 300 Na'Vi for the fact that he would have to lead them as Olo'eyktan were two very different things.

One surprising thing about their tribe was that they were tamers of the creatures known as Txumre', a 3-metre tall carnivore-predator, a bluish-coloured animal, which the tribe used for hunting as well as using its venom for medicinal purposes, so it was not uncommon to see a small herd of Txumre's running around the village.

Arriving at his destination, Aleyx met the Na'Vi who was the father of the Na'Vi that inhabited this body, which now belonged to Aleyx, who was a tall Na'Vi, with a serious countenance and cold look, but that changed when he saw Aleyx walking towards him, and letting out a smile he approached his son to give him a tight hug.

"Thank the great mother you are well, son" Aleyx's father said to Aleyx, "mother says I am well father, I just need to rest a bit and I will be completely fine to hunt again" Aleyx replied with a half smile on his face.

"Do you know where Luak is?" asked Aleyx, wanting to visit his friend, whom he hadn't seen since he woke up.

"As I understand it, he's in the Tree of Souls".

Walking towards The Tree of Souls, which loomed in the distance as Aleyx approached, its massive trunk and branches visible even from a distance. From the ground, the tree looked like a colossal organic structure, its intricate and interconnected branches stretching skyward, creating a natural canopy that seemed to merge with the surrounding jungle.

The intricate details of the tree became more apparent. The branches were covered in thick, velvety moss, which seemed to glow with a subtle, luminescent light. The trunk was similarly rough and gnarled, and was dotted with small openings and cave-like structures where Navi could place objects of worship. The tendrils fell from each branch like an endless stream of pink rain that bathed the area with an aura of power.

It was a beautiful sight to witness, another display of the beauty that this world had to offer, something that sadly humans did not deign to understand, but instead selfishly sought to destroy by attempting to undermine the planet.

As Aleyx approached the tree, he caught a glimpse of several natives worshiping Eywa, and next to them, he could see Luak, who had his neural tail attached to a tendril of the tree.

It wasn't until several minutes after Luak stopped worshiping Eywa that he saw Aleyx, then approached him and gave him a brotherly hug.

"I thought you wouldn't wake up" said Luak after breaking away from the hug, "well, I'm fine, how are you still doing with that?" asked Aleyx looking at Luak's left stump, which was cut just below the elbow.

"It doesn't hurt anymore, although sometimes I think I still have my arm and I try to grab something with it, but otherwise it's fine.

In the evening, when the whole tribe was gathered together enjoying dinner, Aleyx's father Sukai addressed the whole tribe, who were looking expectantly at their Olo'eyktan; "Our tribe has been for thousands of years, surviving and learning, led by the hand of Eywa, guided towards balance, that has kept our tribe strong and united, and today we are gathered to celebrate that my son Aleyx has awakened, thanks to the great mother, who has returned us to our next Olo'eyktan.

With those words said, all those gathered began to sing songs, as they gathered around the great bonfire, however, the festivities were soon interrupted as the hunters of the village hurriedly sought out their spears and bows to protect the tribesmen, why? The notorious Thanator that had been roaming the surroundings of the tribe had entered the clearing, the place where they were all gathered.

The Thanator sniffed and roared as it approached the Na'Vi, but it did not attack any of them, only leapt between the branches of the great Hometree, as it watched each Na'Vi with scrutiny, observing and judging them, apparently looking for something.

Just as the hunters were about to release their arrows in an attempt to kill or draw back the animal and start a conflict, a loud voice was heard from inside one of the several tent-like huts.

"Nimwey! (peace) brothers, Nimwey" said Aleyx, who came out of his hut along with his parents thanks to the commotion produced, and seeing the familiar Thanator did not hesitate to come to his defense, since he may be killed as well as any member of the tribe.

So walking in the direction of the Thanator, being closely followed by the hunters with their bows ready in case it attacked, Aleyx just held out his hand, waiting for something to happen, and he didn't have to wait long, since the Thanator soon came closer after sniffing a little, and then put its snout in the palm of Aleyx's hand.

The other members of the tribe were surprised, as this was the first time a Thanator had ever been recorded acting in such a way, as they were known for their aggressiveness and their total assertiveness against anything in their territory.

"Palulukan Makto!"

"Palulukan Makto!"

"Palulukan Makto!"

It is not known who started the chant, but more and more joined in, hailing the first rider of the dry-mouthed fear-bearer since the times of the first songs.
