Chapter 5

After their Lunch, Davy and Cho went to the beast reserve and dropped the Nundu off. They had talked to the supervisor of the reserve and learned that Newt Scamander, The writer of Fantastic Beasts and where to find them was visiting the reserve in two weeks. "hmm, if we haven't found the origins of the eggs by then we will invite him". Said Davy as they walked out of the reserve.

"Oke, now let's split tasks then we have been too idle since this morning". Cho mentioned. Davy sighed but nodded his head. "You go find your informant and I'll see how is it going with our suspects". She suggested. "Alright, well then I'll see you later then".

Davy apparated from his location to find his informant. Cho walked for a bit and then apparated to HQ.

She went deep inside the building and came to a place where three men were bound and chained into the air, even their eyes were hidden with a black cloth, and their tongues were chained with small chains.

"Miss Cho you came at a nice timing, we were about to start with your prisoners". Said an elderly lady with a summer hat.

"Good, good then let's start miss Trudy". Cho looked around the place, it was a totally white room, there were 2 men and one woman, Trudy the Interrogator is her name, she is an elderly woman with quite a fearsome reputation, She is one of the eldest people who still worked at the magistrate, The other two are her helpers.

"Bring the left one to the seat, my dearies". She said and the two men unchained him from the air and levitated him to the chair in the middle, one of the men then went on to strap him to the chair and removed the chains on his tongue. They woke him up and returned to their places.

The man woke up slowly and groggily and looked around and finally centered his eyes to Cho and miss Trudy. "Wha- What are you doing to me". he asked confused.

"Inject the potion dear". Said miss Trudy to one of the helpers. he took out a blue potion from his pocket and walked up to the man, the man closed his mouth tightly and refused to drink it. Helper two came up and held him tightly and helper one opened the man's mouth with a swish of his wand.

They injected the potion and closed his mouth and held his face up so the potion went down in him.

After a few minutes of waiting for the potion to take effect, the man looked unfocused.

"What is your name". Miss Trudy asked, It was one of the basic questions they always asked when interrogation began.

"My name is Oscar Wild".

"How old are you".

"I am 45 years old".

"Alright, I think we can skip the next basic questions and start with the real questions". Said Cho.

"Alright dear well then ask away". said, miss Trudy.

"Mr.Wild, what did you bring to the exchange yesterday".

"We brought a Nundu". he said

"Who is we".

"Me and Bron".

"Where did you get the Nundu from".

"I don't know, Bron brought it".

"Where did he get it from".

"I don't know".

"What were you exchanging with".

"I don't know, I was only paid for my presence".

Cho looked at the man for a bit before she turned away and looked at the other two men. "I think we are done with him, can we go to the next".

"Yes but the potion will wear off in five minutes, my boys will ask the rest of the required questions, it would be a waste to re-use another potion later". Said miss Trudy while gesturing for her men to take over.

"You want some tea dearie?". She asked as she swished her wand and a tray with tea sets came floating next to them.

"Yes thank you". They sat down and started small talks while the men continued the questioning. After five minutes they finally finished with the oscar and brought the next suspect to the middle.

They did the same thing as they did with oscar and returned to their posts. The suspect woke up and stared dizzily into the front, after a few headshakings he felt conscious and looked around wearily, one of the helpers came up behind him and restrained him while the other injected the serum and so the questioning began.

"What is your name?." Asked Cho.

"My name is martin elking".

"Where are you from Mr.Elking"?.

"I am from HellsGate".

"What were you doing at the exchange?".

"I was tasked with carrying the eggs".

"What are the origins of the eggs?".

"I don't know".

"Where did you get the eggs from"?.

"The headmaster gave it to us".

"Why?".

"To exchange it with a Nundu".

"Why?".

"I wasn't told why".

"What is HellsGate?".

"It is an organization that follows the teachings of Lord Grindelwald and our mission is to remove muggles from power and make magicians apex".

"Where is your influence based and who is your leader".

"Where are everywhere in the magical world and our leader is Lord Mort-aaaaaaaaahhhhhhh". The suspect screamed as if someone was dripping molten gold on his head, his whole body quivered, and right before their eyes, he melted like iron.

"He was bound by a contract it seems but never in my many years have I seen one this horrible dear". Said, Miss Trudy. The helpers came to the scene and cleaned.

"We got another faction to stop before they expose the magic world it seems". Said Cho stressed.

Miss Trudy chuckled and said, "Ohh dearie, there are always groups of wizards and witches flocking together all because they think they don't need to hide or because they think they are meant to be the ones in power".

"They just want power and they'll always use muggles as a cause". Said Cho.

"Ohh I know dearie, you don't become this old without realizing the reason for their causes, as a matter of fact, I was there when Gridlewald was rising in fame, I watched him become the most feared man in the world all because his cause was to make the wizard world apex of this world so watch out dearie even the smallest causes can make the fiercest wizard or witch".

"Yes, ma'am I'll take care of myself now what should we do about the other guy?". Said Cho.

"We will have to inspect his blood and soul to see if he is bound too so it'll take some time before he can interrogate dear, I'm sorry".

"Hmm, don't worry ma'am besides I have got enough leads to keep me busy for now so I'll come back when it's time".

After a little talk, Cho left to find more about HellsGate.
