With the arrival of the New Year and Christmas approaching, Los Angeles became increasingly lively. Perhaps due to its success this year, Arthur received various invitations to parties and receptions daily in Los Angeles.
Arthur, however, was not interested. Upon learning that Christiana Reali was still in Brazil, he directly flew to Rio de Janeiro for a vacation.
Christiana Reali, coming from Sao Paulo to Rio de Janeiro, was very surprised, "Arthur, you're in Brazil so quickly?"
Rio de Janeiro is the largest seaport of the Federative Republic of Brazil, located on the western coast of the Atlantic in the southeastern part of Brazil. It is also the capital of the state of Rio de Janeiro.
Meanwhile, Rio de Janeiro is the second-largest city in Brazil, following Sao Paulo.
"Anyway, I have never been here, and I heard that the New Year fireworks festival is quite lively, so I came to have a look," Arthur lazily leaned on the sofa. Moreover, it's not bad to enjoy the beach and sun in winter.
This was a seaside vacation villa that Christiana had previously purchased near Copacabana Beach.
"Christmas is also very lively. Brazil is a Christian country, and now you can see people and tourists celebrating Christmas everywhere," Christiana said, wearing a sexy bikini with a sheer cover-up, her stunning figure on full display.
Arthur smiled, put on his sunglasses, and said, "Let's go, enjoy the sunshine!" He wrapped his arm around Christiana and headed out.
The beach was bright and sunny, with a gentle sea breeze. Copacabana Beach unfolded before them like a colorful painting. The golden sand stretched endlessly, contrasting beautifully with the azure waters.
People on the beach were thoroughly enjoying their time. Arthur half-lay on a beach chair under a parasol, savoring the sea breeze and the view.
Looking along the coastline, there were a variety of restaurants, bars, and snack stands. Delicious seafood restaurants, tropical fruit stalls, and Brazilian barbecue shops were everywhere.
At the same time, various entertainment facilities along the beach were crowded with people.
Alluring Christiana applied sunscreen beside him. Seeing Arthur relaxing on the beach chair, she explained, "Rio de Janeiro has a tropical savanna climate, with high temperatures year-round, facing the sea and backed by mountains. Isn't it lovely?"
"Yeah, it's truly wonderful!" On the beach, Arthur leaned back and looked at the Jesus statue on the mountain, "That's the Christ the Redeemer statue, isn't it? Looks pretty big!"
It is the famous Christ the Redeemer on top of Corcovado Mountain in Rio de Janeiro.
Christiana introduced, "The Jesus statue is 38 meters tall and weighs 1,200 tons. It was built in France and then shipped to Brazil for assembly. Arthur, it has a similar story to the Statue of Liberty in New York!"
Christiana came over to apply sunscreen on Arthur, who glanced back at the hills behind him, "There are quite a few favelas on those hills. Who knows what Jesus thinks about seeing so many believers die every day?"
In response to Arthur's jest about Jesus, Christiana laughed, "Maybe Jesus is blind to such things!"
Arthur shook his head, picked up a glass of orange juice, and took a sip. He let Christiana apply sunscreen on him while he turned his gaze to admire the sexy Brazilian women on the beach.
Brazil, with its abundant resources, occupies half of South America, and it has a great geographical position!
"Hey, soccer really is indispensable in Brazil," Arthur remarked as he watched a group playing soccer not far away, finding it interesting.
Christiana leaned into Arthur's embrace and kissed him, "Arthur, don't forget, Brazil has three significant features: soccer, barbecue, and samba. In the evening, there will be many samba performances in the nearby clubs. You will love them!"
"Soccer, huh," Arthur pondered while holding Christiana in his arms. 'Ronaldo is only about 16 now, right?'
"What, do you like soccer too? I thought Americans prefer football?" Christiana laughed.
Arthur shook his head, "I'm just thinking about the commercial aspects of these sports, but I don't have time to dwell on it. The NBA, NFL, and NCAA leagues in America are enough to keep me busy!"
Saying this, Arthur leaned in to kiss Christiana in his arms. His thoughts strayed to the local samba dancers, who appeared to have tanned skin compared to Christiana's fair complexion caused by years of living in France. Still, she maintained the allure of a Brazilian girl.
As night fell, Copacabana Beach was splendid with lights, creating a dreamy atmosphere with its colorful illumination.
Music started playing, and various performances and parties began.
In the evening, Arthur and Christiana went to a nearby club to watch samba performances.
Arthur's bodyguards were scattered around, alert for potential danger. Arthur wasn't too familiar with Brazil and didn't want to take any chances with his safety.
"Truly fiery," Arthur remarked as he sipped his drink, appreciating the strength and passion of the Brazilian samba dancers.
"Do you like it?" Christiana asked as she sat intimately on Arthur's lap.
"Bang," just as Arthur was about to respond, there was a sudden loud noise in the distance. His bodyguards immediately stood up and surrounded him.
"What's happening?" Arthur asked in surprise, pulling Christiana up.
Karl Anderson said, "Boss, a fight broke out over there. We should leave now!"
Arthur nodded, "Let's go," and quickly pulled Christiana out of the club.
He thought to himself, at least there were no gunshots; otherwise, they could have been caught in the crossfire!
Arthur's group quickly reached the club's entrance, "Aren't we overreacting? It's just a regular brawl!"
Karl Anderson shook his head, "There are a lot of guns around here, boss. We need to be cautious."
"True, let's go back," Arthur said, used to such scenes, but knowing this wasn't Los Angeles, but Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Based on his understanding, Brazil's security situation wasn't great, with lots of favela members around the area!
Back at the villa, Christiana was still a bit shaken, "I saw a robbery when I was in Sao Paulo, but I've only been in Rio de Janeiro for a few days."
Arthur smiled, "Don't worry, just a small incident, nothing major."
