feast for eyes
the members had a big party and just went to bed.... when Lucy realised she hadn't made anything for Jeremy..... she had no idea about what he would like.... all she knew about him was his food likes and dislikes..... but she wanted to do something different for him.... she wanted to ask the members but all of them just fell asleep....
so she decided to do something that she is good at as well as he would like..... she decided to bake him a cake...
Jeremy always had a craze for dogs... so she decided to make the cake look like a dog..... she had no materials to do it... she had to do it from the starch.... she had no basic ingredients nor did she have any equipments to do it.... so she decided to go for shopping.... as all the members and Jack were sleeping she went to the market by herself... she wore a mask, a cap and went out.... she had totally hid herself so that no one would notice her and nothing like the last time will happen....
she was careful with each and every step and finally reached the market.... she looked around purchased things she need.... when she entered the chocolate section to find some toppings she saw a little girl looking at a cover of chocolate while her mother was holding her hands and looking the other way....
that little girl was longing for some chocolates but her mother was busy buying things..... she did not notice her child... Lucy thought that the mother refused to buy the child a chocolate.... she felt bad for that girl... but the truth was that the child didn't ask her for the chocolate..... Lucy kept looking at the child and the mother....
after a while the mother noticed her child looking at the chocolate... she crouched down and asked her if she wanted it ..... the child nodded as yes with her puppy eyes..... the mother found her cute and bought it for her.... looking his made lucy's heart warm.... she also heard the mother say that the child should ask if she liked something.... not just look at it....
Lucy was looking at them and smiling..... Frederick who came shopping saw Lucy standing there and he went to her.....
"shopping for Jeremy uh??" He asked...
Lucy was stunned.... she was covered fully.... so she didn't understand how she was found... she looked back with a flick.... once she realised it was Frederick... she calmed down and pulled herself together....
"ahh Frederick.... it was you.... God I thought I was exposed... "
"Don't worry it is just me... and i have a good eye for people i know.. '' he said
"how..how did you know I was shopping for Jeremy??"
"today it is his birthday right.... and from the looks of it you are going to bake him a cake... am I right??"
"yar.. did you read my mind or something.... how do you know about all these things.."
"i too was their teammate you know..."
both of them exchanged some pleasantries and Frederick helped Lucy pick up things and both of them parted ways....
Lucy wanted to surprise Jeremy... so she went to Jack's house... successfully prepared the cake.... went to the market again... got all the stuffs required for decoration and went home with the cake...
while the members were still sleeping she decorated the terrace all by herself.... made cards... arranged the chairs... cooked all the favourite things of Jeremy.... arranged them beautifully.... she had her works cut out for the whole evening....
the members woke up one by one... came to the terrace and joined in her preparation.....mann was assigned to keep Jeremy out of the terrace and to keep him in the dark about the party....
the members were surprised to see her cooking because... for them it was jack that cooked all those delicacies..... her skill set was on a different level...
All the preparation was finally over....mann was sent to bring Jeremy up.... his eyes were tied and mann brought him to the terrace...
"The bride is coming in the Isle..." announced Damon
all the members burst into laughter.... once he reached the center of the terrace and the arrangements mann slowly opened his blindfold....
jeremy was stunned by the decorations.... it was eye-catching... he was really happy seeing all the members go to that extend for him.... the cake was brought down.... it was like a small puppy siting with its bone in its mouth....
he happily cut the cake... ate the food she made... got all the presents of the members...took some photos for memories... they played songs.... danced... played games.... and enjoyed the evening....
every one was exhausted.....
Lucy slowly went near Jeremy and called him....
"what is it lucy??"
She hushed him and pulled his hand and took him down.... he followed her like a puppy.....
she gave him some disguise.....and took him out on a motor vehicle.... jeremy was sitting behind her as she rode the bike.... they travelled far.... the breeze was soothing and cold and chilly..... she went to the top of a lonely mountain..... it was pitch dark... the light of the vehicle guided them slowly..... she stopped the vehicle
"get down jeremy" she said...
"where are we Lucy??" He asked as he was walking
"come with me" she pulled his hand aside end started running into the woods....
they went further in....
"There we are...." she showed a cave like place that was as draped with green climbers....
he could barely see through.... there were small small lights here and there.... he went in.....
it was a plane that had fireflies surround the bonfire she had built....
she went near the woods .... lighted it up.... ran behind a tree.... and brought a wrapped box....
she gave it to him and said....
"happy birthday Jeremy..... thanks for being born.."
Jeremy was moved.... he slowly opened the gift and it was two new drum sticks....
"i noticed that yours became Old.... so i brought you two new ones..." she said...
he pulled her into his arms....hugged her...
"thank you Lucy.... this is the best gift I have ever received "
"look at the stars... they are beautiful right..." she said as she was lying down...
"come on.... join me" she patted on the floor....
he too joined her...
"they certainly are beautiful!! what a feast for eyes!!"
