Eve woke up feeling good.
He was not a poet or a novelist, his vocabulary was limited and hence, he had difficulty expressing his condition.
However, if he were to put in words:
"I feel like I drank 10 cans of full of energy drinks in a row."
Not the most accurate analogy, but the fact that Eve felt energetic remains the same.
This much was expected. His stamina received a great boost after all.
He looked outside the window where the sun ruled the sky.
"It's daytime, huh. Was the stat-boosting sleep supposed to be that long?"
He vaguely remembered waking up at midnight and going back to sleep so it might have been his fault.
"Well, not like I had anything to do at night."

"What's up with this system? It wants me to get social for some reason.
Also automatic mission, Melina didn't bother to tell me that. Guess it's a surprise from her.
I get why this thing is forcing me to improve my reputation by doing miscellaneous tasks like this. It's to make them accept me, right?
Honestly, after a certain point, Este flinching every time she looks at me unexpectedly gets tiring.
Even she could beat me in a fight right now yet she has to act like that.
Adrian is no longer violent like before but he goes out on his way to make life inconvenient for me. Arco is the same as ever.
In the end, I don't care about them cooking breakfast for them though. But for the Exp, maybe."
Since he passed out with his clothes on, he got out and headed straight for the bathroom.
After doing the morning routine, he headed towards the kitchen area on floor three.
His Harvest Condition, system now as he calls it, is the most advanced Harvest Condition out of everyone.
Theirs are relatively simple, take Arco for example.
He receives soul power by dominating a person. It's usually achieved by intimidating them by his appearance or besting them at combat. It's a simple formula that can be repeated as many times as necessary to completely empty out the reserve.
The twins have a slightly different Harvest Condition. They are probably the second most complex after Eve's system.
Adrian on the other hand, is similar to Eve's. His Harvest Condition is fulfilling quests given to him by Melina.
Meanwhile, Eve could get automated missions, accurately direct soul power to enhance one aspect, mutate his own body, or gain skills yet his growth rate feels not as impressive as it should have been. He spent two months planning with the IT guy on the 2nd floor and Melina after all.
He has to follow the system obediently, and only he can get a penalty if his mission fails and is subjected to harsh combat evaluation.
"If you want me to follow this, at least make the rewards more enticing."
[Reward Compromise]
[Reward: 5 Exp > 20 Exp]
"...A bit higher?"
[Reward: 5 Exp > 22 Exp]
"Good enough."
After descending to the third floor, Eve went to the kitchen to prepare a masterpiece.
The kitchen was a small room added during the repairing process. It's located at the corner of the room, next to the stairs.
There're a few cupboards, a table with 5 chairs, a sink and an oven in the kitchen.
Stone tiles have been placed on the floor with little to no space between them. It has been cleaned perfectly by the masked man from earlier, who happens to be Melina's butler.
Turns out she's filthy rich. Now it makes sense how she could afford all these.
Her school was starting so she was away from this section of the city for a while, leaving Eve unsupervised in the kitchen.
He took a jar of jam, took a spoonful, and splashed it on top of a piece of bread.
Then he folded the bread in half, making a sandwich.
He repeated the process 4 times and placed it on plates ready to serve.
The first person to come to the kitchen was Este.
She flinched upon seeing Eve in the kitchen, and her eyes widened as she saw him in aprons and with 5 'sandwiches' placed on the table with even space.
Too fearful to say no under his gaze, she took a plate and sat down on the couch.
Next up was Cel, Este's brother.
He frowned upon seeing his sister sitting on the couch, munching on a piece of bread with tearful eyes but a look of understanding dawned when he saw Eve.
He took his piece and sat next to Este.
Thankfully, Arco was away which meant only Adrian was left asleep.
And only Melina herself knows how much that bastard sleeps.
Roughly two hours later, he came down the stairs.
He sat at the table with his eyes half closed and took a bite out of a sandwich.
His eyes gained instant clarity and one could almost see what he was thinking.
"What the fuck, you call this a sandwich?" He roared.
"There is only bread at the end while all of the jam is focused in the middle. At least use a knife or a spoon to spread the jam!"
Eve shrugged. "Ask Melina why a person who has never touched a knife before should cook breakfast."
His eyes turned to slits. "Aha, well, it turns out I got a text from Melina today and she gave me a quest.
She said she wanted me to teach you how to fight. Meet me at the warehouse by 13 pm."
A foreboding feeling gnawed on Eve's spine.
