Chapter-10 With GP Comes Great RP

Robin took a stance because instead of his mentor arriving, he saw a guy in a red and black suit jumping from the ice ramp made by mister freeze and knocking him down.

"Who are you?" in vigilance, Robin asked me.

"Don't worry, I am your friendly neighborhood---...."

*Swish,* Batman came flying from the sky and land near robin.

"Robin, details" Batman stood in front of robin looking at me with a Stoic face, and asked robin what happen.

"Yes batman, Like we planned before I distract mister freeze while waiting for you to come, but suddenly he came from behind mister freeze, and with his kick, he knocked him down" Robin said to batman, who was looking straight at me and after hearing me asked toward me.

"Who are you? And Your Reason from coming to Gotham" batman said in his hoarse voice, was he trying to scare me? Then it is working. Geese.

"My name is Ry--R--R--Red X and the reason for coming to Gotham is to protect civilians against this villain name mister freeze" Technically my grandparents are civilians, so not technically lying.

"So what, you think you're going to become a hero just by wearing some costume and ---"

"No, I never, I did not wear my suit to look cool, I wanted to help,"

"Robin tied up Mr. freeze, and you kid, leave this hero busy to us and live comfortable with your family, being hero is not easy" saying batman turn around walked, and looked toward robin who was just watching them talk.

"I know, but I also know that with power come responsibility and I don't want to run away from the responsibility" I said, nearly screaming at him.

When he heard me, he paused for a second before walking and taking tied up mister freezer with a robin who was looking back from time to time.

"Ugh, this is not defeated, I can, and I will become a hero, if you like it or not" saying I also walked out of the park and ran from there to my home after changing my cloth in some alleyway.

-Scene change from MC to batman and robin-

While riding the Batmobile, Robin looked at batman, and after a few minutes finally, voice his concern.

"Batman, you know he is going to do hero business even if you told him not to"

"I know"

"So, why didn't you stop him, he can get injured or worst get himself killed"

"ugh"

'With power comes responsibility' batman was thinking in his mind. And after a few minutes, he voices his reply.

"Robin, before going to the Hall of Justice, I want you to look into this kid's background and see if he has what it takes to survive"

"You don't mean you are going to let him join the justice league but not me"

"No, I just want to see if he has the ability and if he has, I want you to befriend him and ask him to join you guys"

"But-but Fine" robin wanted to retort, but batman's Stoic eyes made him accept his request.

-the scene changed toward MC-

After running at a top speed which had increased from before, then a few minutes later, I reached home just before my grandparents arrived.

After going inside the house I waited few minutes and few minutes later a taxi pulled up near our house and few secs later. Our house door was unlocked and from came my grandparents.

"Grandma, grandpa I was so worried, I heard the news are you ok, right?" I walked toward my grandparent and gave them a big hug.

"Don't worry kid, and did not I said I will protect your grandma" said grandpa while he ruffly my hair.

"Yes, your grandpa was so brave, he never left my hand even until we took a taxi and arrived here" said grandma while smiling at her husband.

"Wow grandpa, you are so brave?"

"Haha, aren't I the best or what?"

"Ok, why don't you two rest, while I cook some hot meal for you guys"

"Oh, honey, you don't have to"

"I insist grandma, let your grandson make a wonderful meal for you two, now, now get some rest" Saying i pushed them toward their room and walked into the kitchen.

Ok, let's wash the hand before cooking, and let's see what is in the freeze. Ok, a Steak and some vegetables and a white wine.

Ok now it is time for the Steak Au Poivre, Steak au poivre is simply "pepper steak" in French. It is made up of steak, coated with coarsely cracked peppercorns, and then cooked.

This is a relatively mouth-watering meal that will go down pretty well with white wine.

Steak au poivre has amazing nutritional value, consisting of Sodium, carbohydrates, and dietary fibers.

Sodium will help my grandparents with nerve impulse processes, the balancing of body fluids, muscle contractions, and blood pressure control, which might have increased because of the recent villain attack.

Carbohydrates will provide grandpa and grandma with the energy they need to carry out with the day.

Dietary fibers, on the other hand, will improve their digestive health.

After 30 or more minute of cooking the dish was ready, I dim the light of the room and took out the candlelight and place it on the table and light it on making room smell good and fresh.

"Grandma, grandpa dinner is ready"

Soon both came out and after seeing the candle, smelling the room and the lighting made them awe.

"Come grandma, grandpa, hope you both haven't forgotten your 54th anniversary"

"Oh, honey, you did not have to *Sob* *sob*, my dear boy gives grandma a hug" After seeing all this, grandma cried a little and I moved in to give her a hug.

"It is ok, grandma, this is what family are for"

"Good job kid" grandpa ruffled my hair, again with the hair ruffling.

"Now both of you, take a sit and enjoy" saying I took both of them to sit down at the table.

"Honey, what about you? Come sit with us"

"No, grandma it's your day, and also I have already eaten before you came so not much hungry at this moment"

"Ok, Maintenant, profitez de grand-mère grand-père" saying I walked out leaving them alone to enjoy their anniversary dinner.
