Chapter 92: School Wars prt IV

While Arthur and the others were heading towards Alex and the others in the forests the enemy was already in chaos thinking of their next move..

"Sir... they've defeated five of us!."

"Don't fret.. we've seen their moves.. they're no threat to us."

"What are we going to do?."

A girl with blue hair simply replied, "We'll wait for them here of course."

"Is that a good idea?."

"You question the decision of your student council? I promise you they're no threat to us and besides some of them have fully lost their mana from my sand magic."

Meanwhile at the forests where Alex and the others were waiting for Arthur, Gray was walking back towards the area as he went somewhere to get some fresh air.

"They're really annoying..Huuhh." He uttered.

"Looks like you weren't captured after all." Jazmyn said.

"You thought I'd be captured!?." Gray reacted.

"Jazmyn.. you better rest up now.. we need everyone's help for this assault.. so you better get some at least a bit of mana before we strike." Alex said.

"Ye-Yes President.."

Dorothy was simply asleep while sitting down but at the same time her mind was so fixated on Arthur's safety, Abbigail was tending to their wounds, and Alex was keeping watch.

[Arthur.. please be safe..]

A few minutes passed and Arthur and the others finally arrived.

"Finally we can win th------HUUHHH!? ZACK!?." Gray reacted.

Alex and the others both turned their looks towards Zack.

"I'm sorry.. but I can't just hide it out while you guys fight.."

[He's got spirit.. I'll give him that..] Alex thought.

"I want to fight with you all." Zack said.

"Alright."

Without a thought Alex agreed directly, the reason why is that Alex feels what Zack is feeling now.. since he too experienced this.

"But you better make sure to stand your ground alright.. we'll protect you but not all the time, think you can handle that?." Alex said.

"I don't need your protection I can handle this myself." Zack replied.

Alex stared into Zack for a few seconds to see if he has what it takes.. Zack simply stared back into him without breaking his emotions shown in his face.. they were dead serious.. Alex smirks and yells out.

"Alright!! We're going to win this!!!."

As they were all hyped up and filled with fiery passion, Alex explained to them the plan for their attack, A few minutes passed and everyone was given their roles and assignments.

Abbigail, Saya, Arthur, Dorothy and Carla were at the front of the enemy base, Patrisha, Saya, Zack, Jazmyn and Alex were at the back simply waiting for Arthur's team to make the first move.

"Arthur.. President and the others have arrived at their areas.." Abbigail said.

He nodded in response and yelled out,

"Attackk!!!!!."

Dorothy casted fireballs, Saya simply unleashed her weapons in defense mode and launched multiple missiles, Abbigail jolted multiple ribbons unto the walls and bringing them down.

"Sir!! it's WordBagon.. they've arrived and are attacking the main gates!!."

"Is it the Student Council?."

"No.. wait... at least one of them is.." The girl with blue hair said "Can I deal with them President. pretty pleaseee."

"Goo."

"Yahoooo!!!."

As she rushes towards the front gate herself.. the remaining two members were shaking and nervous.. while the members of the Student Council from SK were calm and waiting for their targets to show themselves.

While they managed to destroy the entire front gate they continued walking towards the base.

"That was easy right my king?." Carla asked.

They all stopped on their tracks as Arthur then replies,

"I really wished you never said that Carla.."

"Ehhh??? Why!?."

As she turned her gaze to where everyone was staring she was scared, the immense pressure she felt just by staring at the blue haired woman in front of them.

"Stand back everyone.. she's one of the Council members from the enemy side." Abbigail said.

"OOOhhh?? Nice to see ya again!."

Abbigail never responded and was raising both her arms protecting her juniors from the woman in front.

"That's mean you know.. ---"

She disappeared while Abbigail was concentrating on where her opponent's next strike would be.

"--- Not answering!."

Instead of targeting Arthur and the others the woman with blue hair was fixated on Abbigail that she appeared right in front of her.

[Where's her lance!?] Abbigail thought.

Expecting a weapon she was confused as to what happened next, She punched her in the face twice and backed away.

"You were expecting my lance weren't you? HAHAHAHAHA poor thing.. got baited by my fast movements."

While Arthur and the others couldn't much do a thing..

[What just happened..] Saya thought to herself.

[We couldn't even see what happened] Carla thought to herself.

[This is the power..] Arthur thought to himself.

[Of a Student Council member] Dorothy thought to herself.

Abbigail dealt the blows and used her healing abilities to at least calm down her numbness while still raising both arms in the air.. protecting her juniors.

"Come on.. we're both Vice Presidents.. so we might as well fight it off right?."

She never listened to a thing the Homunculus talked about, all her mind was fixated on was making sure the others were safe..

"Soo you kids better get lost.. or back out from this match now!!."

She plunges herself towards them, but her target wasn't Abbigail anymore it was Arthur and the others.

She equipped her Lance out of thin air and aimed it towards them, She was too fast for them.. their eyes couldn't keep up with her speed.

But not fast for Abbigail, The Homunculus's spear was this close to piercing Arthur's cheek.

"Huuh? Why did I stop?."

The Homunculus turns around and sees multiple ribbons enwrapping all around her body.. stopping her movements mid air.

"Your Opponents right here." Abbigail said.

She then throws the Homunculus into a wall while Arthur and the others looked for cover or hide in the sides.

As the dusts clears out the Homunculus clears out the dirt all over her shoulders as she then says,

"Now this is.---"

She disappears and reappears in front of Abbigail while twirling her lance around, Abbigail equipped her armor and conjured up a lance made out of ribbons to counter her opponents weapon.

It was a fierce battle, they were too fast and all over the place that Arthur and the rest couldn't see what was going on.

Abbigail ducked her head as the Homunculus jolted her lance towards her, as she returned the favor she backs away.

"I won't let you!." Abbigail said.

She concentrates her mana towards her legs and rushes in, not giving her any time to escape or get the momentum, Abbigail jolted and swung her lance towards her without any openings.

The Homunculus parried and evaded Abbigail's swift attacks but she herself couldn't even land a strike at her anymore.

Abbigail leaped in the air to dodge a low swing from her opponent and conjured up a huge hammer and slammed it unto her.

But instead of getting crushed she was still standing while countering the Hammer slammed unto her.. she wasn't giving up, both her foot were dug in deep in the ground.

"I knew that wouldn't be enough to stop you.. so I'll return back what you did to me earli--!?."

As Abbigail saw below she was using her strands of hair to help her withstand the hammer's force.

A piece of her hair latched unto Abbigail's arm and pulled her out of there while throwing Abbigail towards the wall.

"I should be saying the same thing." She uttered.

Abbigail brushed away the dusts surrounding her with a sword made out of ribbons.

"I told you before haven't I? I'm a Homunculus.. my hair can act like extra hands for me.. I'm not gonna make this easy for you."

"My bad for letting my guard down." Abbigail uttered.

As the two rushed towards each other once again and the battles continues.

"We need to help her.." Dorothy said.

"How exactly? we can't even see their movements yet.. we're still not on their levels.." Carla said.

"It doesn't matter.. we need to at least try or.."

"My king are you really sure about this?."

"We have to try.."

Abbigail backs away and requips her weapon from a sword into a rapier and rushes in once again and lands multiple thrusts against her opponent but since she was a Homunculus she managed to heal up the grazes Abbigail made.

"Then how about this.." She uttered.

she entrapped her enemy with her ribbons while launching multiple sharp ribbon like projectiles from the inside.

but this time the trap failed as strands of the Homunculus's hair pierced through her ribbons.

"Using the same trick twice? that's not good you know."

She launches her hair like sharp projectiles that Abbigail went on the defensive, she summoned a barrier made of thick ribbons that the hair like projectiles wouldn't pierce through, because of the spell she made.. it was draining her mana at a fast rate.

"How long are you gonna keep it up!!." She yelled.

The Homunculus then her lance to protect herself from an incoming bullet, she turned her sights towards her opponent's juniors from the sides and says,

"Brave little juniors aren't they? I'm going to teach them a lesson or two!!."

Her leg was then caught by Abbigail's ribbons stopping her in her tracks, but with the tip of her lance she cut the ribbons apart and rushes towards Arthur and the others.

"Show me your mettle!!!."

She twirled her lance creating more force as she was stopped by both Arthur and Dorothy's weapons.

"Wha--!?." She reacted.

The three were in a lock with their weapons while Saya leaped from above and threw her scythe at her.

The Homunculus then backs away and dodges the scythe while she runs at another angle to find an opening.

She stopped right on her tracks as her foot was almost blown off by Carla's bullets.

"To think mere children can keep me this busy.."

She disappears right in front of them as they all kept their guards up, she re appeared above them and launched multiple sharp like projectiles with her hair Carla immediately went towards the others as Dorothy casted a spell in which protected them from the bombardment.

As the dusts cleared and the bombardment finally stopped Dorothy dispelled the barrier and at the next second Saya pushed Dorothy yelling,

"Master look out!!."

Saya was then kicked into the walls while at the next second Carla couldn't see it coming and received an upper cut from their opponent.

"Dorothy look out!!" Arthur yelled out.

He took the blow and was thrown all the way into a wall, almost knocking him out.

[Wha-What just happened?] He thought to himself as he sees Dorothy left standing.

"My I never knew you had a knight in shining armor? I'm so sorry about this and that.. but no hard feelings okay.." The Homunculus said.

Dorothy eyes shone a bit of light as all the classes slowly appeared in her eyes.. but..

As the Homunculus was about to land a strike on Dorothy with her lance, A black figure rushed in towards them.. and as the dust cleared.. It was Arthur.. but something was different about him here.

He had a black wing on his left side while half of his face was covered in a black aura that gave the Homunculus a spine chilling sensation.

"I'm.. going to protect...Dorothy... even if it costs me my life.." He uttered.

The Homunculus wasn't afraid of his dark form or his aura.. but his determination to keep that girl safe from harms way, even if it meant destroying his body, his eyes were half dead, as if the boy was possessed by something else, Arthur's body was screaming in pain, from the injuries he's received at the start until now.. his body was aching, he felt like he was about to give in to the pain and be knocked unconscious.

Arthur disappeared and landed a punch, a blow to the face pushed the Homunculus into a wall.. but Arthur's form couldn't last long and dispersed.. The boy was back to normal but was already unconscious.

Dorothy was the only one left.. she was carrying Arthur until..

"I'm impressed.."

Before impact.. she commanded her hair to wrap around her face to at least soften the blow.

"I guess you four are strong enough to face me.. to think my hits couldn't even knock you all out.. isn't that right." She said.

Dorothy then saw both Saya and Carla desperately trying their best to get up, forcing their bodies to stand and fight.

"My King... I don't know what Mana skin you just used just now.. but I won't give up like you!!." She uttered.

"Stand!! Her Father gave me this body so I can.... live and protect his daughter!! I'm going to... keep that promise!!." Saya said to herself.

They both managed to stand on their two legs but their faces were still devastated from the pain, they saw Arthur risked his life a few seconds now just to protect Dorothy and were inspired from that.

"Oh? You four have my respects for surviving my attacks.. you are worthy opponents." She said.

She turned her gaze not from the juniors who were desperately trying to stand their grounds but the immense amount of pressure that was overflowing in the area..

"Abbigail Gabriel III.. The Vice President of WordBagon Academy."

"For hurting my precious Juniors.. you'll pay!."

She conjured up her armor made of ribbons.. but this time.. it was different.. her Helmet was now a Dragon's head.. her lower armor were more less than the other one.. it was a light armor.

"Oh? a new armor.. let's see what you got!."

Abbigail rushes in while The Homunculus's eyes widened as she couldn't even see her move.. one blink from her eye and the next she appeared right in front of her.

She then lands a blow throwing the Homunculus towards three layers of walls...

"Interesting.."

She twirls her lance around and plunges herself towards her while Abbigail merely caught the spear with her hand and landed a kick to the stomach throwing her in the air.

Abbigail then jumped towards the sky and created a gauntlet made of ribbons while coating it with her own mana and landed the final blow.. a punch to the face.. which thrown her into the ground itself.. and knocking her out.

As Abbigail lands on the ground her armor then disperses as she immediately rushes towards the others and tend to their injuries despite her own..

Dorothy puts Arthur down gently next to Saya and Carla who were unconscious.

"Dorothy!! are you okay?." She asked.

"I'm fine.. and these three will be fine too.. now you must take it easy and take a break."

"Nonsense I can heal them u---?."

"It maybe not be enough but I can at least heal up your injuries.. with my own healing spells." Dorothy insisted.

Abbigail took on her offer and sat down on the ground as Dorothy casted a healing spell on her.

"Hey Dorothy.. what about the others?."

"let's focus on you for now.. I casted my healing spell on them not too long now but just for them to be immune from the pain.. and once I'm done with yours you can fully heal them.. healing magic isn't really my thing but I learned it otherwise for the sake of the team." Dorothy said.

"I see..." Abbigail said.

[She kinda reminds me of how I used to be...] She thoughts to herself as she closes her eyes to take a break.

Meanwhile Alex and the others managed to infiltrate the enemy base and were looking for the enemy now..

"Patrisha.. how many did you guys fought back at the base?." Alex asked.

"Five, I think?."

"If the diversion worked then at least only three left will remain.." Alex said to himself.

They were relying on Patrisha's skill to figure out the layout of the base as they were looking for the command room.

"By the way how would you know the Target would be at their command room?." Jazmyn asked.

"I mean they obviously think we're weak right? then we'll use it to our advantage." Alex replied.

"Sir!! They defeated Ma'am Candy!."

"Impossible? They defeated a Student Council member?."

[Did we underestimated our opponents? if soo then we have to--!?]

And Alex and the others stormed in the enemy command center..

Patrisha took out two of the members while two remain in the room.

"You were wrong about three of them remaining Alex." Jazmyn said.

"So you're telling me they only sent out one of them to deal with Abbigail and the others!?." Alex reacted.

"Eyes at front President there are only two people left.. one of them has to be wearing the target suit.." Jazmyn said.

Alex summons his main familiar to attack the remaining two in front of them.

"Just two of them?."

"And one of them's probably a goner.."

The person sighs as he creates an image of Abbigail out of Ash, There were no differences some would say if Abbigail was gone for a year and this version of her would take her place, they would say there wouldn't be any difference in them.

"Abbigail?." Jazmyn reacted.

Alex was simply clenching his fists tightly as he still commanded his familiar to head for them without stop.

"He's not stopping?."

"Huuh?."

The ghost samurai was still charging towards them as it passed by the Abbigail lookalike the two remaining members retreated.

"Did they just run away?." Gray asked.

"They're going to pay...."

"Hmmm?." Patrisha reacted.

"For creating a Fake Abbigail like that! there can only be one Abbigail, no fake can ever replace her!!!." Alex yelled out with rage.

"But she isn't getting replaced.. right?." Gray said.

"uhmmm Yeah.. he just gets hyped up like this if he sees either any of us like that." Jazmyn replied.

"We need to follow them, fast!." Alex said as he chased right after them.

Meanwhile Arthur and the others were still unconscious while Dorothy and Abbigail were busy healing them with what they can.

"I'm sorry.. because of my inexperience we won't be of much use to Al--I mean President."

"You like him don't you?." Dorothy's smug face said.

"That's not really the important right now!?." Abbigail replied.

[Alex.. please be safe..]

Abbigail's thoughts were fixated on Alex's safety regarding her injuries and thinking of it as it were nothing, She's already using a great amount of how much mana she has left.

Meanwhile two enemies remained in the SK Academy base against all ten members of WordBagon. Alex's team were chasing after their last two opponents who ran away.

"Patrisha if this were our base where would we head when it comes to escaping?." Alex said.

"This way!!.... Turn left at that corner!!!." She replied.

As they exited the enemy base from the back the two boys standing in front of them have strengthened their resolve to face them head on.

"Oh? you boys have some great resolve not running away after that stunt you pulled before.."

Alex was extremely furious.. his eyes were as bright red, fueling his rage as his thoughts remembered the Fake Abbigail.

"Well I don't wanna embarrass ourselves in front of our juniors and seniors watching us now." SK Academy Student Council President said.

"Hey! Don't tell me..." Gray reacted as his expressions were filled with nervousness and fear.

"Of course he'd have it.. The President of the Student Council in the SK Academy.." Jazmyn utters.

"None of you interfere with this.. I'll deal with him." Alex says as he summons all five of his familiars.

Two wolves, A Hawk, A Serpent, And his main familiar a Samurai, facing the intense pressure they were all emanating the two boys in front were hesitating, legs were shaking, their thoughts were breaking.

"Go deal with the others.. don't let them interfere.."

"President..."

"I'll accept his terms.. President vs President.. we'll see who's stronger."

The two President's from both Schools were now in a face off...both letting off immense pressure and they were merely staring. It's a six on one fight while a one on another battle it was a one on five.

"First, I'll deal of the weaker ones!!."

He was heading for Gray clenching his fists while coating them with his mana to add more power to each blows.

A fiery blast stopped the person right at his tracks as he turns his shocked gaze to the left, a crimson winged girl with a lollipop in her mouth was surrounded by flames, enveloping around her.

"Your opponent is.... ME!." Jazmyn uttered.

She forms two of her fiery wings while spitting out the stick on the ground, she coats her entire body with her mana skin and charges towards her enemy.

The enemy simply fired off a huge fireball with one go, he was confident.. because of their first duel.

He managed to overhear Jazmyn telling their President that she's run out of mana and this is what gives him his confidence.

[I'm sure those wings are taking enough of what little mana you have.. foolish!!]

She simply flew upwards dodging it shortly after he was shocked to see her still able to move freely.

[How is this possible!? I'm sure I heard her clearly when she said She's overused her mana.. Then what is this am I seeing!?]

"Ummm should we just go and hide now?." Zack said trembling in fear.

"Hey!! you were the one who said you wanted to fight on the frontlines!." Gray yelled.

"I have to agree.. looks like Ms. Jazmyn is going all out on this." Patrisha said.

She dives in towards her opponent with everything she got.

"I won't fall for this! not twice!!." He yelled.

Instead of firing multiple fireballs like he did before, he now ran to evade her dived attacks, She misses her strikes one by one as he simply leaps or evades them with ease.

[His movements aren't like before!? What the hell!? My Mana is starting to disappear.. I'm running out of time... I need to deal with this and fast!]

She extends everything to her wings to give her more speed and it did, her movements and attacks became faster but the enemy was still able to dodge them without problem.

"Stop moving around won't ya!?." Jazmyn exclaimed.

"Hehehe."

Zack, May, Patrisha and Gray were hiding behind a cover while watching the battle from a safe distance, Zack then punches the wall in frustration as he says.

"I asked for this.. and I'm...I'm soo useless."

Jazmyn disperses her wings and created daggers out of fire and used them to get up close, she swings from left to right but her foe clearly evades them while both Alex and the president of SK Academy were still staring at each other while letting out their immense pressure.

"Come!." Alex uttered.

He draws his rapier out and rushes in towards him.

"Wings, You two deal with him." Alex said.

The hawk familiar attached itself into Alex's back flying him upwards while two of his wolves charged towards their foe.

They both attack him one by one until he managed to defeat both familiars..

"That makes....three left."

Up in the air Alex looked impressed but at the same time his facial expressions of him being mad were still showing.

He lands on the ground and calls back off his Hawk familiar and what remained was his Serpent and his main familiar.

The three of them charged towards him without any hesitation they were willing to beat him senseless.

"From five to three.. gotta hand it to myself!."

He evades the Serpent's body slamming and thrusts at least five holes into it and once again dodges a strike from the Samurai warrior and thrusts another five holes into the samurai warrior.

"That's not nice you know.." Alex uttered as he was behind him.

He couldn't see it but he was able to dodge Alex's strike by his instincts, as he kept on running away, evading Alex's swings, but he wouldn't even let him get away as the key to winning this battle was right in front of them.

[Arthur..Dorothy...Saya...Carla...Gray...Patrisha...Zack...May...Jazmyn and Abbigail..I'm going to end this and win!] Alex thought to himself.

He kept on swinging his sword until he would manage to land a blow, ending this tournament once and for all.. so many have gave their all for this battle..

"For showing me a fake image of my beloved I won't forgive you for that!!." Alex exclaimed.

"Is he seriously hung up about that!?."

"For there could only be one Abbigail in this world! and she's the one that I love!!!."

As it echoed throughout the entire area all of the participants heard it and not to mention the entire audience watching heard that statement out loud.

"President....?" Abbigial asked to herself.

The crowd was shock to hear this all of a sudden but either way the battle continued without any problems.

He leaped from here to there just to get away from Alex but it wouldn't work out that way since Alex was right behind him no matter where his foe would go.

"Arrgghhh!!! You're starting to annoy me!!."

He thrusts multiple hits unto Alex's legs and arms but...

"----!?."

[Did he took them head on on purpose!?]

Alex aims his sword high facing the sky while all the mana in the area were starting to get dragged in by Alex's sword.

[Is he serious with all that mana!? He's gonna kill me!!!]

"Be defeated!!!!!!!."

Alex yelled with everything he had with that strike and swung it down to his foe defeating him with one strike.

"AAAANNNNNDDD THE WINNERS ARE..... WORDBAGON ACADEMY!!!!!."

As the P.A. Announcer yelled out the victor of the match, the crowd went wild, SK Academy, Rainbow Academy and of course the Rainbow academy students yelled out in joy.

They all enjoyed the battle so much that they were cheering for both academies to do their best.

"I guess this proves it Father... we have to tell him tonight." Louise said.

"Hmmm... I'll also let Dorothy know about this as well." He uttered.

As the crowd was cheering loudly, all their friends across the kingdom were glad to see their friend achieve victorious.

"They did it!."

Liz jumped out with joy, a huge smile was on her face as Dr. Sara arrives and sees the news on the television.

"CHOOOOOOo!!!!!."

She spits out the coffee she just sipped on her cup and said,

"It's over already!?."

"Uh-huh and it was amazing!." Liz said.

Both her eyes were sparkling with a sense of joy and happiness seeing her friend win the event.

Somewhere a certain Mage was glad about Arthur and Dorothy's achievement.. but..

"Urghhhh!!!."

"Heeh?." Tazer reacted.

"Are you alright Merlin?." Annie asked.

Merlin was slouching towards the wall as if he felt a tremendous pain surging from his body.

"I'm fine..Annie.. Thank you for your concern." He replied giving her a smile.

[Is it really going to happen?... A traitor? or was it a misunderstanding of my prediction.. either way many heroes have been placed there.. so intruders are highly doubted to make their move.. could there really be a traitor?.. I need to go and see for it myse---HUH!? I was wrong!!!]

After realizing something Merlin quickly rushed to the WordBagon Academy for there was one thing he miscalculated.

[I was wrong!! There was no traitor to begin with.. The Five Pillars are now attacking as we speak!]

"Anyone! Atalante! Max! Aiden!! Anyone!?.. This is bad!." Merlin said to himself.
