Chapter 39: Everything's going to be fine

Today is a Saturday and Arthur, Dorothy and Anna were at the park eating ice cream Anna says,

"Here Papa." she lets him take a bite out of her ice cream and he completely had a brain freeze meanwhile Dorothy was laughing out loud she said

"That's your fault for eating it too quickly HAHAHA." two people passes by them and the girl asked "Hey Cameron where do you wanna go, now that we're done rescuing Stella's sister?." Cameron was checking his phone and said "Well where do you wanna go?." She then punches him and said "That's not fair I asked you first so you're supposed to be the one to answer my question."

as they passed by Arthur thought to himself "I wonder if Dorothy wanted to go somewhere before?." as Dorothy took a bite from Anna's ice cream with her not looking.

Arthur then says "Hey Dorothy.. do you wanna go somewhere?." as Anna was mad at Dorothy for taking a bite out of her ice cream she then said "Hmm I don't know really, I'm really happy to where I am now I don't need to go somewhere to be happy." Arthur was shocked and said "But I ner-." She then interrupts him by saying "But you wanted me to be happy right?." Arthur was silent and gave her a grin.

She then said "Thank you for concerning yourself about my happiness, but I'm already happy being with you and Anna, Arthur." She ruffles Anna's hair and gave Arthur a smile.

out of nowhere, a droid managed to snatch Anna away from them Arthur threw his sword at the droid but misses he says "Dammit!." as Dorothy casts multiple fireballs a wall of droids took the blasts protecting the one holding Anna, Arthur tried chasing after it yelling "Anyone! Anyone that could help my little girl!!." as Arthur was chasing the droid Dorothy was praying "Anyone, Atalanta, or Merlin, please anyone save our daughter!."

Someone from behind the building overheard Arthur's cry and decided to follow the droid and Dorothy then brought herself together and chased after it.

meanwhile as Arthur chased after the droid, three droids blocked his way as he yelled "Get out of my way!." as he slashed at them only one was destroyed as the other two dodged the strike and draw out their blades he then thoughts to himself "They have weapons now?." as he dodged a strike from one of the droids and exchanged blows from them.

Arthur managed to tear off one of the droids arms while evading the slash by the second droid, he takes a few steps back and exhausted as he dashed in and tore off one of the droids head from it body as he blocked the strike from the other one.

Dorothy's threads then tied up the droid as she then yells "I'll deal with this one go after her Arthur!." as Arthur quickly looked around the area hoping to see where they went, he managed to spot it heading into an alleyway.

He then follows after it as the droid Dorothy caught managed to get out and rushed towards her as she then said "You'll pay for doing this to my daughter." as her eyes could be seen and her pupils were surrounded by all the classes and summoned all the weapons and fired them at the droid as if they were arrows impaling it in the process.

Heroes arrived at the scene, as all the weapons evaporated and she fainted the female hero said "Call an Ambulance!." while one hero started calling the hospital an explosion then occurred near the alleyway as she then said "I need you to go over there and see what's going on."

Arthur was surrounded by multiple droids as he saw a glimpse of Anna being taken into a van he yelled out as he slashed multiple droids "Annaaaaaaaaaa!!!!!!!." as he was slowly feeling a pain coming from his back, beating every once in a while as a black wing formed out of his back the droids start to stab Arthur's legs where he lost focus and the wing dispersed.

screaming from the pain he then stabbed the other remaining droids in the area as the van leaves he was then kicked by one of the droids.

He was slowly loosing focus as heroes came and destroyed the droids while one hero tends to Arthur saying "Hey? are you okay?." He then said slowly "Anna, I need to save her." as he then faints out.

as Anna wakes up at a strange place, all tied up and droids at every corner of the room staring at her she starts to feel a little anxious and says "Mama, Papa where are you?."

A voice could be heard coming from the speakers "Welcome my little test subject, what I'm about to do to you is something very fun." as the droids slowly close in on her she weeps out of terror as she yells "Stay away from me!." as someone enters the building and destroys the droids "You can't do th-." she destroyed the speakers in the room, and freed Anna.

She then says "It's alright, Everything's going to be fine."
