Chapter 40: Meeting the clone

A voice could be heard coming from the speakers "Welcome my little test subject, what I'm about to do to you is something very fun." as the droids slowly close in on her she weeps out of terror as she yells "Stay away from me!." as someone enters the building and destroys the droids "You can't do th-." she destroyed the speakers in the room, and freed Anna.

She then says "It's alright, Everything's going to be fine."

meanwhile in the control room, the person in control of the robots got pissed off as she smashes his keyboard completely destroying his keyboard.

He then says "New one!." as a droid enters the room with a brand new keyboard and he then says "Get the girl!." as the droids in the room activated.

meanwhile Anna asked "W-Who are you?." the girl replies "I'm a friend of your papa as she lends out her hand, Anna was hesitant at first to trust a stranger's hand as multiple droids came in from the door.

The girl then said "Alright Other Me go!." as multiple copies of herself were launched towards the droids and destroyed them, Anna hid behind her and asked "Who are you?." she then replied while giving her a smile "My Name's .."

a droid came crashing down on them, as she pushed Anna away from the falling debris she immediately moved to the left to avoid the debris and swung to the right to destroy the droid with her blade and fired a bullet at a droid helping the other clone.

as the battle was over the clones dispersed and she went towards Anna and said "My name's Liz, and I'm here to help you." she lends out her hand again as Anna grabs her hand and asks "Do you know where Mama and Papa are?." Liz nods her head and carries Anna from her back and the two proceed to head out of the room.

the droid went in the room and contacted the one controlling the droids, the droid said "There are no signs of the kid nor the attacker, they must have fled." he then replied furious "Of course they did! lock all entrances and I need the girl brought back to me alive." as he ends the call and the droids go into attack mode and look for them.

"You've got a name?." Liz asks while she runs into a droid and summons a clone and it tears off the droid's head and disperses as Anna then said,

"Anna, my name's Anna."

Liz then says "Well Anna you don't have to worry you'll be able to see your parents again after tonight." Anna was shocked and asked "It's already night!?." a droid came up from behind as Liz took a side step and slashes the droid in half and then says "I'm sorry I took too long to arrive." She then disagrees and says "It's okay, you came to save me. and I'm thankful that you're here ... umm." She dodges the droid's strike and releases multiple clones to it and says "I believe I'd introduced myself, my name's Liz."

"What happened to Mama and Papa?." the little girl grips both her hands on Liz's shirt and she says "They'll be coming here shortly, but for now please be a good girl for me and stay strong until then okay." she gives her a warm and friendly smile.

as Anna yells "Look out!!." Liz faces in front and sees multiple droids blocking the way as she stops from her tracks and says "Alright girls it's time to shine!." and summons the same amount of her clones to fight the droids, and among the chaos the two would slip by in the middle, as a droid was about to hit them one of the clones took the strike, and the other crushed the droid's head.

Anna closes her eyes and says "Are they gonna be okay Liz?." Liz then turns around saw the clones being killed while some were standing their ground she then thought to herself "I guess the half I got are weaker ones compared to the original." as she continues to run

Meanwhile at the hospital Arthur just woke up and says "Anna!!!." as he stood up from his bed while Aiden was sitting next beside him and said "Calm down man." Arthur was panicking saying "Where's Anna?? Aiden where is Anna!?." Aiden then tries to let him lie down on his bed as he says "She's fine, there was this in your hand." He showed a letter "Almont st. block 3." Arthur asks "What's this?." and Atalanta enters the room carrying Dorothy, Arthur then asks out of concern "Dorothy are you supposed to be moving yet?." She then replies "I don't care, our little child is in danger I don't need to stay here." Atalanta then says "I tried to stop her but she just won't back down."

Aiden then says "We'll go with you Arthur." as Atalanta then says "Aiden!." He then replies "Hey if you were in their shoes what would you do? and besides even if we weren't here they'd still go and save her anyways, you know that Sis."

Back at the place, Liz and Anna entered a room due to the droids overwhelming them. she says while catching her breath "They're getting relentless." as Anna cries in the corner saying "Mama, Papa." as tears were flowing through her eyes Liz goes to her and comforts her saying "It's gonna be alright Anna, I promise I'll protect you no matter what." as she lends out her pinkie finger, Anna stopped crying and lend her pinkie and made a promise with her.

The droids barged in and destroyed the door as she screamed Liz grabbed her and summoned multiple clones to distract the droids while they make it out the door.

Liz says "Just cover your eyes Anna." as she dashes through the battle and out to the door and runs away she then thoughts to herself "Where's the exit?." as for the mastermind, he was watching their every movement through the cameras and said "Hmm looks like my droid's have been getting better than her clone.. No it looks like her clones are more weaker than my droids." as he sees the clone get stabbed and dispersed directly.

He then says "Send in the destroyers!." as Liz and Anna enter another room, but this time the room was more larger, and filled with huge boxes in them Liz then says "We can stay here for the meantime." as Anna then says "Alright Liz." She then summons a clone and says "I need you to look for us a way out of here other me." the clone then replied "Right away other me." and starts to head outside the room.

Liz was closing her eyes for a minute saying to herself "I can't believe she handled releasing so many clones at once on a daily basis." as she catches her breath she hears a growl coming from Anna, as she was embarrassed Liz then gave her a chocolate bar.

Anna then says "T-Thank you Liz." as she opened the bar and ate it she then asked "Do you like chocolate bars Liz?." She opened her eyes and said "I've always loved them, ever since I was a child, at least as long as I can remember." she chuckles and a few minutes later Anna gave her half of the chocolate bar to Liz, She was shock and confused to what could've made the little girl give her half her chocolate bar she asks "Why?." Anna then replies "you said you loved them right? and I don't want you to be hungry so here." Liz chuckles and accepts the chocolate and eats it.

as the surviving clones from earlier survived and managed to destroy the droids blocking the way earlier, one of the clones said "We should return to our self, other me." as one of the clones get shot from the chest and dispersed.

the clone then asked "Reinforcements?." as she gets shot in the head and dispersed, one clone then yelled out "Let's tear it to pieces." as they all rushed towards the droid while laughing and smiling.

But as they got closer, the more their numbers got lessen by the new batch of droids in front of them, one clone managed to survive and dodged the bullets to land a strike, she side stepped and took a shot but was deflected by it's shield the other clone took a turn and feinted to the right and swung at her left but the was blocked by the shield.

the clone said as she was getting surrounded by the droids "We need to warn my other self about these new ones." as she gets filled by bullets by the droids surrounding her.
