#06 His Emotions

"He hasn't even had anything yet though?"

Mia and I tilted our heads in confusion. The expression Eric had earlier wasn't something we would see everyday. It was an expression of mixed emotions like anger and sadness within him. Well, at least that's how I interpreted his look when he walked away.

A cool breeze brushed my cheeks and caused my hair to sway about. I tucked my baby hairs behind my ears so my head wouldn't look too messy.

"Ah! Could it be..." Mia placed her fingers under her chin and threw a questioning gaze. "Did he eat some jelly?"

I stared at her with a perplexed expression whilst she smirked. She looked like she had figured something out when she gave me a smug look.

"Let's go confirm my theory!" Mia snapped her fingers and grabbed my wrist, dragging me to our classroom by running in full speed.
