#07 Voice Out

Mia and I were on duty today as stated on the daily roster. We were in charge of cleaning the whiteboard and sweeping the floor respectively. Without delay, I took the broom and dustpan from the cabinet at the back of the classroom.

As I swept the floor, debris piled up and dust rose into the air. I started sweeping in the corner of the classroom first and swept towards my direction in short, smooth motion. Then, I swept the accumulated dirt into the dustpan in my other hand to avoid dragging those dirt piles across the cleaned floor.

The whiteboard was already cleaned after school yesterday so Mia's duty was basically done. She just needed to dip a cloth in a mix of isopropyl alcohol and water to remove those annoying whiteboard ghosting.

Since that was her only task, it took very little time for her to be done. After Mia washed the cloth and hung it on the rack, she took a broom and came to help me out. We chatted a little while we moved our hands.
