Chapter Forty Eight

"Anna, you know I don't mind. You can spend as long as you want."

Eve said smiling at Anna. Anna who was feeling a bit nervous before she came here finally breathed a sigh of relief.

"So, I can take three months off?"

Eve nodded "I understand that you are young and it will be too much to take on the responsibly of the head chief now....you have to find a man, settles down and have kids you know?" Eve winked. Anna choked and tried to cover it up with awkward laughter. "Ri....Right!" she replied making Eve smile wider. The thought to have kids hadn't really crossed her mind.

"You know what?.....how about you....spend more than three months?"

"Huh?" Anna raised her eyebrows "Can I really?"

"Mmhmm" Eve nodded feeling happy after seeing the excited look on the girl's face.

"You're just twenty two my dear, you are at the prime of your youth.....how about a year?. After one year you can prepare yourself and resume your duties"
