Chapter 13: Hard Fought Battles

Deku was running away from Gaara's sand which chased after him fiercely. Deku dashed foward attempting to kick Gaara but a wall of sand absorbed the kick. The wall of sand began shooting out sand spikes forcing Deku quickly run away. Deku preformed a series of backflips avoiding sand spikes which penetrated the ground. Deku's leg was suddenly wrapped up by sand making him think to himself. He wasn't aiming for me, he was just spreading his sand throughout the stage. Making it easier for him to get a hold of me.

Deku let One For All flow through his finger which he prepared to flick while yelling, "Delaware Smash!" Deku flicked his middle finger releasing a powerful wind pressure shock that blew apart Gaara's sand. Gaara leaped into the air landing on a plate of sand. Gaara was weaving hand signs causing a tsunami of sand to start to consume Deku. Oh crap, I can't dodge!

  Bakugou could be heard shouting, "AP Shot!" Bakugou fired a concentrated blast of his explosions putting a hole through Gaara's sand tsunami. Deku gasped as he thought to himself.  A hole!

  Deku leaped through the hole using the speed of Full Cowl while Bakugou screamed, "Dammit Deku, how am I supposed to surpass you if you get eliminated this early in the tournament?! Pick up the slack dammit!" Deku nodded his head before looking at Gaara who was flying around on his sand plate. With Kaachan's help, beating might actually be possible. Deku began sprinting towards the pillar in the middle of the stage. Gaara was confused by this causing him to turn around and chase after Deku. Okay good, I have his attention.

  Gaara swiped his arm across the air sending sand claws to Deku who began running up the giant pillar. Deku was running in a zig zag in order to dodge the sand claws that bursted amongst contact. The sand crawled up the pillar towards Deku who yelled, "Kaachan, now!"

  Gaara turned around seeing Bakugou using explosions to propel himself into the air while yelling, "Its over no brows!" Bakugou swiped an explosion that Gaara shield off with a wall of sand. The sand grabbed Bakugou's leg and proceeded to throw him away but he used an explosion to come right back. Gaara began weaving hand signs causing a sand tornado to erupt in midair. Bakugou gasped as he was heading straight for the tornado until Deku suddenly flying kicked through the tornado of sand. Gaara turned around while sand wrapped around him extremely fast but he was still kicked down to the stage. Deku flipped off of Gaara's sand barrier when they collided with the ground. The barrier bursted off of Gaara sending drills towards Deku who barely dodged each one, getting small cuts all over his body. This is okay, just minor injuries that I should be able to shake off.

  Gaara held out both hands emitting a series of sand pellets that Deku jumped over. Deli swung around while yelling, "St. Louis Smash!" Deku delivered a roundhouse kick that broke through Gaara's sand, skimming his face shedding a bit of blood. Gaara slid across the stage while Deku shouted, "Delaware Smash Air Force!" Deku flicked four of his fingers simultaneously sending 4 burst of air towards Gaara who's sand was blown away causing him to get sent flying. Bakugou was falling down while shouting, "No running this time no brows!"

Bakugou palmed an explosion hitting Gaara's sand which was again blown away, barely saving Gaara. Bakugou began rapidly palming Gaara's wall of sand continuously blowing away the sand that kept reforming. Bakugou yelled, "Die! Die! DIEEE! STUN GRENADE!" Gaara closed his eyes as a bright light flashed flashed right in his face. Deku flying kicked Gaara back making Bakugou yell, "The hell do you think you're doing Deku?! He's mine!" Bakugou used an explosion to boost himself towards Gaara while Deku gasped, "Kaachan wait!" Deku began running catching up to Bakugou who slapped the air sending an explosion towards Gaara who grunted, "Enough of these games! Come!"

  Bakugou swiped his hand upwards sending an explosion shaped like a wave forcing Gaara to put up a wall of sand. Deku jumped off Bakugou's back before preforming a kick that spilt the sand wall in half. Bakugou yelled, "Dammit Deku I'm not your damn stepping stool! Arghhh!"

  Bakugou fired an explosion that propelled both himself and Deku into the air. Bakugou used explosions to spin around like a wheel of fire quickly colliding with Gaara's sand. Deku landed in front of Gaara who sent out a sand wave. Deku used the speed of Full Cowl in order to get behind his opponent while shouting, "This is my opportunity, Detroit Smash!" One For All flowed tbrough Deku's arm as he uppercutted the air, barely missing Gaara's face. H-he missed? Gaara gasped when suddenly wind pressure lifted all of Gaara's sand into the air shocking Gaara completely. Deku smiled making Gaara turn around to see Bakugou pull the pin to his grenade glove while shouting, "Block this!"

  A large mass explosion was sent towards Gaara who's eyes widened as he was blown away. When the smoke cleared Deku was on the ground breathing heavily making Bakugou ask, "Where is he?! I want my elimination!" Gaara could be seen standing with his arms dangling, his skin was cracked and falling off. Deku gasped, "His skin is made out of sand?!"

  Gaara panted, "It's been awhile since I've used my sand armor, I applaud you for that. I wish your team the best of the luck." Gaara slowing fading away into tiny particles of sand making Bakugou growl, "Dammit, he got away!" Deku thought to himself as he slowly stood up. That guy was so strong, this is going to take some hard work if we want to win this.

Diane was throwing punches at Acnologia who dodged them with ease in his human form. Diane was shrunk down to her human size as she yelled, "Stay still so I can hit you!" Diane threw a punch that Acnologia jumped backwards from. Diane used Creation to summon several earth pillars with spiked tips forcing Acnologia to dodge precisely. Diane grabbed one of the pillars and tried to slam it down on Acnologia who caught it with one hand.

Diane grunted, "You're no normal fighter but you're wrong if you're gonna underestimate me!" Acnologia explained, "You misunderstand, I did not challenge you because you were weak. It's because we share something in common, we both hide something big." Acnologia tightened his grip on the earth pillar causing it to shatter into pieces. Diane groaned as she was kicked in her stomach making her slid across the stage. Wind began to swirl around Acnologia who chuckled, "Unleash your true power! Let it go!"

Acnologia's eyes glowed red as he transformed into his gigantic dragon form making Diane's eyes widen in fear. Welp this is my opportunity to go all out. Diane began running forward while transforming into her giant form. Diane palmed the ground sending several earth drills towards Acnologia who simply stood there. The earth shattered amongst contact with Acnologia's skin making Diane weaved some hand signs while shouting, "Fillet and Loin!"

Two giant earth golems were created and they both tried to squish Acnologia between each other's hands. Acnologia allowed them to double palm his head causing their arms to be destroyed. Diane yelled, "Oh enough of this crap. Scared Treasure: Gideon!"

Diane summoned a giant war hammer that she swung hitting Acnologia in his torso, sending him flying into the large pillar in the middle of the stage. Diane panted, "Take that you dragon freak!"

Acnologia sighed, "I guess you're not the one who's going to make me go 100% after all. Farewell." Acnologia opened his mouth preparing to preform a breath attack making Diane gasp, "He sucking up all the air, this is bad! Gotta defend somehow." Diane slammed her war hammer into the stage created a giant wall of earth. This should at least reduce the amount of damage his attack will do.

Acnologia roared a gigantic gust of wind the size of a cyclone which ripped Diane's earth wall to smithereens hitting Diane off the stage. Diane screamed as she fell into the darkness eventually landing in the bleachers in her human form. King shouted, "Diane!! Are you okay?!" Diane replied, "I'm fine, he's super tough though. Don't try to go against him, the captain will need you in the long run. Don't worry about me, I'll cheer you guys on from up here!"

King nodded his head before he turned around to see Acnologia transforming back into his human form. You're gonna pay for what you did to Diane, you overgrown lizard. Just you wait!
