Jacques quickly found a hidden space underneath an outcropping to hide in, the trees and shrubs grew thickly around here providing the perfect cover. "Let's hide here," He said to Audie who had been trailing behind him this entire time, gesturing for him to go first.

He expected Audie to have something witty to say about the place he found but the Alpha just quietly crawled into the dim space. Thankfully the dirt was dry and it didn't have bugs crawling around, it was perfect.

Audie had been strangely quiet throughout their walk here, it was unsettling but it was also an ego boost to be able to tame him with the slightest of gestures.

Jacques got in after he did, sitting across from the other with his elbows supported on his knees. Fortunately, it was cool in the makeshift cave, the coldness of the stone seeping in through his cotton shirt.
