A Song of Grace & Fury

A stranger from distant lands and a continent on the verge of civil war. A perfect recipe for a tale of legend, except this stranger was a little too peculiar to function as a mythical hero and the so-called 'distant land' was actually a completely different world. So no, this couldn't work as that. A better interpertation would be a vacation. What was the might of a people subjugated by dragons against one who subjugated the very beasts they bowed to? ...Well, it would at least be amusing if nothing else. Wait, the dragons had long gone extinct? ...Motherfuc- - Elden Ring OC x ASOIAF/Game of Thrones, I put this here because there's no tag for Elden Ring on WN. Obligatory; All rights go their respective owners, I own nothing except my OCs. And, don't translate or 'share' my stuff, much obliged.

Revelation

You know, I get it.

I really do.

You see a guy like me standing next to the bloody body of your king, of course you'd put a blade to my neck... It's the reasonable thing to do.

But, I don't have to like it.

I studied the old man's face and spoke neutrally, "You heard him, right? I was just trying to stop the bleeding."

He has short hair and a stubble that's long lost it's colour thanks to his age and is wearing dark gold armour that's shimmering in the sunlight... It's not quite as impressive compared to the Tree Sentinels but it does it's job of making him look important when coupled with the white cape hanging from his shoulders.

He eyed me cautiously before slowly withdrawing his sword and rushing to his King's side, "Your Grace, how do you feel? Are you able to walk?"

"What do you think... it bloody feels like?" The King spoke annoyedly, grabbing the man by the shoulder, "Barristan, t...hat man saved your King's life."

Barristan... Barristan... That name sounds familiar.

I narrowed my eyes at the older knight before turning to look at the two younger men that came with him, one was dressed in fashionable dark robes and wore several rings so I figure he's a noble or something while the other...

Huh, it was a kid, with brown hair and skittish eyes and copious amounts of sweat on his neck and face, "W-Will His Grace survive?"

I'd write it off as nervousness and shock but if my time in the Lands Between taught me anything, there's something more to how scared he seems. Earlier, I noticed that fatas-er... King, I saved reeked of wine and alcohol.

That's not exactly the most smart course of action to take on a hunting trip and... hm...

I walked over to the kid and grabbed his hand, "You, what did you do?"

"N-Nothing. I just gave His Grace his d-drink."

"On a hunting trip? That's the kind of incompetency that sees whole families hanged."

Or, maybe even a lot more, Marika wasn't exactly the kindest of rulers from what I could gather during my limited interactions with her.

"Y...You're hurting me."

My boy, if you did what I think you did, this is nothing compared to what you'll be feeling later.

I let go of his wrist and looked, "He's going to die from blood loss if you don't get him medical attention."

Barristan, who'd been trying to help the King sit up, looked at me and nodded, "Lord Renly, help me with the King. Lancel, go call for help. We'll need to carry him to Red Keep immediately."

The kid I was harassing jolted before nodding and running off as Renly moved to help Barristan.

I figure getting on the good side of a King can't hurt, especially with how little I know about this world so far.

So I sauntered over to him and crouched down again, "It's going to be a while... err..."

"Robert. Robert fucking Baratheon." The King, well, Robert coughed.

"Right, Robert... I can carry you if you want? To camp?"

The young man I presumed to be Renly snickered involuntarily at my comment, pursing his lips right after, "I...I doubt that's possible, good ser."

Understandable, Robert's taller than me by an inch or two... and just about the fatte-... wait no, that spot goes to the Godskin Nobles. The fat fuckers weaponised their stomachs and became wrecking balls.

"Very funny." Robert cast a glare at the younger man, before turning back to me, "I won't be carried like some wee lass... I can w-walk."

He tried to push himself to his feet but all he really did was let out a pained groan and fall on his back.

"Your Grace, respectfully, the stranger is right. We have to carry you back to camp." Barristan offered calmly, kneeling next to his King, "There's no telling how long it might take for the young Lannister to return."

Lannister... Baratheon... I know these names, I swear I know them.

The memory just isn't clicking.

"Bah! That fucker means to let me bleed out! Cunts, the lot of them."

Letting out a sigh, I approached Robert.

"Renly and I shall take the legs, you take the head... and be careful." Barristan spoke calmly, still cautious about me.

It'd normally be a problem to haul this tub of lard but fortunately for them, I've eaten so many dragons the number escapes my mind... Gorging on the hearts of dragons involves taking on their power for yourself.

All of dragonkind hates me for a reason.

I slipped an arm under his neck and the other under his legs before easily lifting Robert from the ground under the shocked eyes of his men, "Where to?"

"P...Put me down! I'm not being carried like a whore!"

For a man with a hole in his stomach, he sure is loud.

"I'd rather be carrying Queen Marika too, you fat fuck. Who wants your man tits pressing against them?"

You'd know the Queen was goddess from her Divine Rack alone... there was also the fact that her Empire spanned a whole continent but meh.

All of them looked at me in shock... but the silence was shattered when Robert snickered loudly before hissing and gritting his teeth, "Lead us to my camp. And brat, I'm the fucking King. Hahaha-...oof."

...I don't think this man is a very responsible ruler.

Barristan nodded dumbly, still processing what had occurred but started walking anyway, "Follow me, be on guard for wild beasts."

"If I may be so bold, may I ask why your eyes look like that, good ser?" Renly prodded cautiously as we walked, referring to the fact that my eyes literally glow... though not enough to seem inhuman, just enough to not be normal.

"It's from eating dragons."

He looked at me weirdly, confused, "Very well, keep your secrets. I was merely curious."

"You know... for someone whose King has a hole in the belly, you're pretty relaxed." I noted with narrowed eyes.

"Oh please, as if this is the first time my brother's managed to grievously wound himself on one of his little... adventures."

So he's the King's younger brother then.

I'm starting to think the bandage wasn't the best of ideas, they're severely underestimating how deep the wound is, "He's going to bleed to death if the wound isn't closed."

And I sincerely doubt he can revive like me on death.

Wait... Can I even do that here? I don't think Grace exists here.

"Say..." I started softly, "Who would you say is the strongest warrior in this world?"

I need to find out how much danger I'm in as soon as possible and change my ways accordingly... These people are like regular humans but that doesn't mean they populate the whole world.

"It was Ser Arthur Dayne, the Sword of the Morning, but he died during the Rebellion." Renly pursed his lips, looking up in thought, "And I suppose Ser Barristan is among the most, if not, the most skilled warrior."

Isn't Barristan the old guy leading us?

I narrowed my eyes at the older knight leading us through the forest, trying to feel something odd... I'm fairly certain I can tear him in two with my bare hands.

"So nothing like demigods?"

"...Demigods?" Renly repeated after me, visibly confused, "What might those be?"

Oh... Oh my...

Lost in the sheer amount of possibilities this presented, I almost dropped Robert.

This... This changes a lot of things.

Are you telling me I can do whatever piques my fancy with nobody to make me answer for it?

That there's nothing to bind me?

You might think I'm jumping to conclusions here but let me entertain my delusions for once.

Marika knows I've suffered enough.

Hope you enjoyed.
