The Kiryu Clan and the Shinomiya Family

Several days had passed, and the new main mission in the JOJO world was finally generated.

Although Shin was involved in other mission worlds, he decided to check out the details of this new mission since it was now available.

With this thought in mind, Shin opened up the mission info for the JOJO world. Although he couldn't enter the mission world just yet, he could at least see what the mission was.

[Current World: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure]

[Main Mission: Eliminate Diavolo]

[Player Zuke's Synchronization Rate: 0%]

[Please work on advancing the main mission to unlock synchronization rate]

"So it really jumped to Part 5… Which means this mission world is continuing the changes I previously made to the storyline," Shin realized upon seeing Diavolo's name—it was a clear indication that the story had moved into Part 5.

His actions in Part 3's timeline had evidently altered the world's progression, causing the Part 4 storyline's boss to disappear entirely.

To be honest, it was a bit of a shame—Yoshikage Kira, the Part 4 boss, had a rather impressive Stand, Killer Queen.

However, Shin had no regrets about taking Kira Yoshihiro's Arrow. In comparison to a single Stand power, the Arrow that could create Stand users in bulk held far more value.

He also noted that his synchronization rate for this mission world had been reset to zero, meaning he'd need to start from scratch.

It seemed that each main mission refresh also reset the synchronization rate—though it likely wouldn't affect the powers he'd previously acquired from this world.

Given Shin's current strength, eliminating Diavolo would be easy. However, Part 5 contained many things worth obtaining.

Leaving aside the variety of unique Stand powers, the Bug Arrow in Part 5 alone was worth seeking out.

The Bug Arrow could trigger a Stand's evolution, transforming it into a Requiem Stand, retaining its original abilities while gaining an entirely new set of powerful abilities.

The Requiem abilities that appeared in the original story were each remarkable in their own right.

For example, Chariot Requiem could manipulate souls, allowing it to swap souls among living beings, promote evolution, and even control others' Stand actions.

Gold Experience Requiem, on the other hand, could nullify any action or intention, effectively making it invincible.

These Requiem abilities were independent of the Stand's original powers, granting entirely new abilities rather than enhancing existing ones.

Shin was curious about what kind of power his own Stand, Blackbird, would develop if it evolved into Blackbird Requiem.

"It seems like tomorrow's mission world choice will have to be the JOJO world…" Shin contemplated his next steps.

The Type-Moon world could wait a day, as Caster hadn't been summoned yet and Saber hadn't arrived in Fuyuki City. Entering the Type-Moon world tomorrow wouldn't allow him to end the Holy Grail War in a day.

Since that was the case, it made more sense to check out the JOJO world first, then return to wrap up the Holy Grail War once the other participants had arrived.

Though he could speed up the Fourth Holy Grail War by manipulating time in the mission world, the temptation of JOJO's new mission was too alluring to ignore.

It was like getting a new quest with enticing rewards in an online game—you had to at least take a peek, even if you couldn't complete it right away.

"You seem to be in a good mood, Shin-Chan."

Observing Shin eating breakfast, Sayu Hagiwara asked curiously.

While there wasn't any clear reason, she could tell he was in high spirits—even though his expression seemed as calm as usual.

"Pretty much. A lot of the things I'm working on are making good progress," Shin nodded in response.

The Dragon Ball world was seeing steady growth in his combat power and skills, the JOJO world had offered an opportunity to upgrade his Stand, and the Fourth Holy Grail War was progressing rapidly.

Everything was advancing smoothly, putting Shin in a good mood.

If anything was less than perfect, it would be his goal of "entering multiple mission worlds within a single day," which still hadn't seen any progress.

He wasn't sure what kind of achievement would unlock that function.

After breakfast, Shin left home under Sayu Ogiwara's watchful gaze and sent a message to Megumi Kato on his phone…

This time, it wasn't just a casual chat—he asked Megumi to help him request a leave of absence from his teacher.

While skipping class directly wouldn't be impossible, it would worry Megumi. Shin was considerate of her feelings.

The reason for the leave was that he'd received a message from Kiryu early that morning.

Kiryu informed him that he'd received an invitation from the Shinomiya family and sought Shin's advice on whether to meet them.

The Shinomiya conglomerate wielded significant influence in Japan, with countless subsidiary companies and a reputation as one of the nation's four major conglomerates.

It seemed that after Ai Hayasaka returned home yesterday, she subtly passed some information to the Shinomiya family, leading them to take an interest in Kiryu and issue an invitation.

In Japan, the underworld's survival often relied not only on violence but also on connections with the legitimate world, sometimes even involving mutual benefits. Thus, Kiryu leaned toward meeting the Shinomiya family.

However, Kiryu was a smart man and understood that Shin was the real decision-maker. Though Shin had said there was no need to ask him about everyday matters, Kiryu felt that this was significant enough to warrant Shin's input.

After all, with one wrong move, the Shinomiya family could easily devour the Kiryu Clan.

That was Kiryu's view, though Shin didn't consider the Shinomiya family particularly dangerous.

If Kiryu offended them, he'd have to stay cautious in the future, even if he could escape with his strength.

But if Shin clashed with the Shinomiya family, they would be the ones who'd have to watch their backs.

Therefore, Shin decided to accompany Kiryu to meet the Shinomiya family.

If he encountered the right person, Shin might even take this opportunity to bring the Shinomiya family under his control.

Of course, if he succeeded, he wouldn't abandon the Kiryu Clan—they served as his stepping stone to connect with the Shinomiya family and deserved credit.

With the Shinomiya family's support, the Kiryu Clan could continue to thrive in the underworld, enabling Shin to truly bridge the gap between the legal and illegal worlds.

—That was, of course, if they met someone suitable to manage the Shinomiya family.

And if they had Stand potential, that would be even better.
