A Reincarnator's Journey

David Valor, a normal sophomore student, dies in a cliche 'truck-kun' accident just to get sent to another world by the system! Using the 'true' system, he slowly rises to the top of the food chain before truly begining his adventure! (David may not be a "Good" Mc as I want to write it in a way of what I would do if I was in this situation myself. Of course there will also be some things different than what I think as well.) *** Note: I have no real plans for this story, it was made on a whim, so it may lose quality on the way, please read with caution! Schedule: I'm still in school so updates will also be somewhat slow, also, english is not my first language so please comment if I wrote something wrong! Thank you for reading!

Recommendation Test (1)

It was currently 6 am, David had already woken up quite early to warm up his body right before going to Balfone Academy. He went to the courtyard, at which the servants saw him and immediately handed him a steel and wooden sword.

Picking the steel sword, he lightly placed it on the ground and begun stretching. Since he would be going to the academy by 9 am, he didn't go all out with training today.

Doing some light slashes across the courtyard, instead of training his strength, today, David was going for more of a dynamic stance since he knew that coming from his parents, he had more than enough power to enter the academy. All he would need to do is to be able to control his own movements, making his strikes seem more accurate, yet deadly at the same time for those who saw him training today.

From all of those times he was able to train with his mother, she had shown him many different moves. Although they were basic, they were still helpful even if they didn't raise the level of his {Sword Technique} skill.

With his {Genius} title and his enhanced skills, he was easily able to recreate those moves within the tenth try. Even then, the number of moves was quite overwhelming, so it took him around 40 minutes to get a general feel of them.

By 7 am, David had already cleaned up and went back to the dining room to eat breakfast. Bennett had also woken up at this time, walking downstairs dressed up in his uniform as all recommended students must wear their uniforms when taking their test since they would enter the school anyway.

Since today was the last day of the weekend, Sarah and Ben were still in the house. For breakfast, they ate pancakes and some bacon, coupled with milk.

It was already 7:15 am when they finished eating. The two were currently saying goodbye to their parents since they learn later on about the dorms and how they would be staying in them for the next 3 years.

"Alright, do your best! You've both been training for a whole month for this after all!" Ben grinned as he ruffled their hair.

Hugging the two, Sarah also encouraged them, "You'll be fine even if you don't do well, the academy is here to teach you in the first place."

The carriage had arrived. As expected of nobility, yet not at the same time, it was more like the first carriage David and Bennett were on, just slightly more detailed and luxurious since they do have to keep up with their family's reputation.

The two children nodded, smiling before they walked to their carriage to Balfone Academy. They look back, only to see Ben crying while Sarah was dragging him away, making them smile wryly.

An hour later...

They had reached an area close to the academy. The building in front of them was huge no doubt, there was a large stone wall, resembling a castle as the four corners had distinctive towers. Since this was part of the property of Balfone, it had its emblem placed right above the gate.

As they were the recommended students, all they had to do was to wait to be escorted so that their test could begin. Although it did say that it would start at 9 am, that was at the latest.

Currently, it was only around 8:20, and no one was here yet, meaning they were here quite early and first as well.

At the gate, there were a few guards who seemed to be at around tier 3. They checked both Bennett and David, looking at their badge to see if they were the authentic recommended students. Even if the badge was authentic, they had to check for other things, which was slightly annoying, but for the safety of not having an identity fraud, they let the checks happen.

After their check, were they let into the 'building' for their test. It definitely didn't feel like one of those test places where you would be in an arena to show off your prowess in front of everyone, but more like a containment room, able to restrain the powers of the supernatural.

Walking in, the building didn't seem to have much of anything special, a large hallway with a bunch of pillars separating the doors to what seems to be the testing rooms.

There were staff members staying here 24/7, and so one member saw the two walking around in their uniforms. Quickly getting the fact that it was testing day today, he quickly ran up to them.

"This way please." a staff member called out respectfully.

Seeing that the staff member had an authentic badge on him as well, they nodded. The two followed the staff member to a separate room. As they entered the room, their surroundings had changed, surprising David, while Bennett was still quite calm, as if he saw this multiple times already.

Seeing his reaction, David nudged him as he whispered, "Did we just walk through a portal or something?"

"Mhm. It is a portal, much more modernized than you thought right?" This is one of the things David was sheltered about, so Bennett wanted to tease him a bit.

Slightly blushing at his own ignorance, he sheepishly nodded, "Yeah... I didn't expect all of this."

Snickering, a message rang out, "Student Bennett Vale, please step into room 107 to begin your recommendation test."

"Oh! Seems like it's my turn! See ya!" Bennett ran as one of the doors lit up, signaling where he should go.

"Mn. See ya." David softly smiled and waved back, watching Bennett leave.

Around 20 minutes passed until David's name finally called, "Student David Vale, please step into room 112 to begin your recommendation test."

'Great! I can go all out without any troubles!' he thought as he stood up, walking to his assigned room. It was quite justified since he was now a noble, a noble of a high rank at that, he would need to have exceptional ability anyway!
