A random pokemon journey

Alexander was a fairly normal guy on earth or at least he hoped so. Somehow though he had gone his entire life without playing a single pokemon game or watching any of the anime. That changed when his friends kept pestering him about it and he finally gave in and purchased a few of the games that came highly recommended such as emerald , fire red , platinum and heart gold. He also bought a cheap ds lite to play all of them when he was off work. Unfortunately he was struck by lightning the moment he finished the last of them and died. He ended up awakening in a small cave at the foot of a mountain forest and learned he had a system to help him in this new and very dangerous world. AUTHOR Note------- This story will only be taking place in the world before the fairy type came out so only those regions exist in this version of the pokemon world. There will also be casual smut and maybe possibly an actual romantic option but I haven't decided yet , also no harems. I would like to add that everything with the system is RNG based so I have no control over it.

Recovering

This wasn't to say that the head of the spear was not fundamentally changed from this event as the metal now glowed permanently after having apparently absorbed some of the Heatrans aura upon it's death. Even before now the head was no normal metal object as it had been forged and remade with aura into a pseudo conduit weapon because of the old man who used it as his hammers head for many years. After absorbing the Heatrans aura however it had undergone an entirely new sort of reforging and was now unlike anything my skill had any knowledge of.-

In other words it was now an object that existed outside the previously discovered understanding of all aura or metal working knowledge by mankind. I understood why this was as well since it was a series of factors coming together that had an abysmal chance of ever being repeated again. First was that a smith was naturally attuned to aura and used it for decades in his work in order to create a pseudo conduit weapon. The second was that the same smith WILLINGLY reforged that pseudo conduit weapon and gave it to another aura user instead of taking it to their grave.-

The third was that the one who received it continued to nourish it with their own aura before having it unintentionally absorb the aura of a legendary pokemon of decent power. Any one of these things were near impossible to replicate so getting all of them again would take stupid amounts of luck or a miracle. Out of my three knocked out team members Gaia was the first to awaken which made sense considering she was the least injured. She still had several harsh cracks on her carapace and was low on energy but compared to Rune and Vulcan she was a fresh as a spring daisy.-

They were both out of energy and horrifically injured with more than a few broken bones destroyed skin and a bunch of other issues. Hell I myself was blind in one eye and had half my body in shambles though most of the damage was my own fault admittedly. My state was not one she took well as she got quite clingy and protective. Mother henning aside Gaia would recover in a couple days at most by herself. I used most of my energy on Rune and Vulcan rather than treating my own issues over the next few hours as they were in much worse states than me.-

Both had been hit with the very edges of Gaia's attack and on top of the damage they suffered previously they were both in bad shape. Nothing fatal thankfully but they will need a few days to recover if both Yani and myself focus all our energy on healing them. Vulcan was the next to wake up and was understandably quite grumpy when it did. "En! En! Tei! Entei! En!" it demanded after looking at the Groudon scale.-

"You sure that is a good idea?" I asked seriously. Vulcan wanted to absorb the energy of the scale which I knew would normally be a good thing for it but with these injuries I wasn't so sure. "Hmmm!" Gaia hummed in agreement with Vulcan which surprised me until I realized that Groudon was also a ground type so it's energy should also be compatible with her. That brought up a question though ' would Groudons energy influence her evolution that was right around the corner'? I honestly wasn't sure since for obvious reasons this wasn't something that was common.-

Gaia had evolved to her current form nearly three months ago so the time that she had left until she could evolve again was at most a week or two. A fact I was very much looking forward to since upon reaching her final stage she will instantly receive a massive boost to her stats and power while her training limit was removed. Add on the fact that she was estimated to reach nearly twenty feet tall and she will prove a monstrous existence to face in battle. "I will trust you guys on this but if it seems like any harm will come of it I'll call it off understood?" I said sternly and they both agreed to my condition before making their way to the scale.-

Gaia floated with her air vents while Vulcan was a volcanic pokemon to begin with and directly jogged over to it through the magma. Both of them sat on the wide red scale and closed their eyes to meditate. They were beyond my aura senses range but if they were within it I would be able to sense the energy flowing from the scale into their bodies before getting circulated and mixed with their energy pools.-

I was hopeful that they would benefit greatly from the scale much like the Heatran had as the thing was monstrously powerful even for it's species. I was almost positive that the thing had been slowly draining the scale over time and so was much stronger than usual for it's species. It had even somehow managed to use psychic type energy to try and keep the scale for itself via misdirection. How the fuck that worked I wasn't sure but it did until my stubborn ass came along to fuck around and find out.-

The Heatran might be dead but this couldn't be called my victory by any stretch as I had a steep price for it. I couldn't be sure but I was fairly certain my right eye was totally destroyed and if I wasn't intimidating to look at before I definitely would be once my body scarred over. I had bad burns all along my chest , arms and legs that would leave scars along with the holes from the debris as well. 'Birch is gonna flip when he sees me in this state.' I thought with a sigh as I focused on healing Rune up.-

A couple hours later and he woke up as well but chose to remain perfectly still since it hurt to move. I was right there with him as my whole body ached , throbbed or stung but I pushed through it. For the next two days I stayed in the cave next to the lake healing rune and myself as neither Gaia or Vulcan had moved from the scale this whole time. Towards the end of the day however there was a loud "CRACK!" that echoed through the whole area drawing my attention away from my meditation.-

Looking towards the sound I was left speechless as I saw both Vulcan and Gaia glowing slightly in a reddish brown manner while the scale was starting to crumble. 'They drained it entirely!?' I thought in horror as I had no idea what this sort of thing would do to them. It needed to be remembered that the energy within that scale was still tied to Groudons land divinity even if it was a tiny amount of the whole things. So by taking all the energy of the scale that tiny spark of land divinity went to one of them but I had no idea which.
