Episode Six: Confrontation

"You guys broke the Training Room, again!" Green Lantern (John Stewart) said in an annoyed yet not so angry tone, outside the mentioned room.

"Well, what can I say? My children take after me, naturally they're strong." Cell responded.

"But you just don't break it all willy nilly like that, have some consideration for the other members." Green Lantern (John Stewart) replied.

"Oh, I can assure you. No amount of training of theirs would make them any stronger. Besides if I train, your chances of me succesfully bailing your behinds will increase. You should be glad I'm this strong." Cell retorts as he chuckles.

Green Lantern is annoyed at this but let's it go, as he is matured enough to do so. That and whatever he says won't phase the narcisistic android.

"Next time you break it, It'll come out of your paycheck, the League's Budget can't afford to keep cleaning after your mess. " Green Lantern (John Stewart) said.

"Oh did you mean to say Batman's budget? because that would be more accurate. Although the Entire League's budget is small, Batman is a League Member, so I guess you are half correct." Cell said in a condescending tone.

Green Lantern glares at him and walks away. The other heroes who previously watched the fight and heard this just turned away and ignored the last part.

Cell giggles at this seeing that the info he got by snooping around and investigating proved him right and won him the argument.

5 hours after the incident with Cell breaking the training room for the 2nd time...Cell is now at his room with his two children.

"Get ready tomorrow children, it'll be a big day, because tomorrow we confront them, it would be wise to face them when their plans against us are still in their infancy." Cell briefed his children to which the kids just nods.

"That way, we can crush them before they become a threat. So, the plans are as follows..."

The next day in Metropolis.

"Hm... Martian Manhunter said that Superman works around here." Cell said to himself.

"Ah there he is!" Cell said as he lands infront of a building where superman works.

'Geez, that guy works as a reporter? what a waste of strength and potential!' Cell thought.

Cell lands at the entrance and opens the door. He walks inside and asks the clerk at the lobby.

"Excuse me, do you kno-"

"AAAAHHH! MONSTER ATTACK! HELP!" The receptionist screamed.

Cell decides to play along and have fun. Going as far as standing in place...menacingly.

"CONTACT THE AUTHORITIES! AN UGLY MONSTER IS ATTACKING THE BUILDING!" said one of the people present there.

Cell just rolls his eyes whilst smirking and says "Look lady, I know that I look perfect, but try to contain yourself." He then hands her his I.D.

The receptionist hesitantly grabs it and looks.

"I-I see, I'm sorry. I didn't realize that you were here for business. I assumed you were a villain because of the way you look and-..."

"And? do tell."

"And because of your aura. It gives me a VERY, very bad vibe."

Cell smirks and says "I see. I often hear and see those kind of reactions. It's hard to go out in public with all these...racism, going on."

"I-I see." Said the clerk uncomfortably.

Cell then chuckles as he remembers the time he raided a T.V station to announce the Cell Games, he got the same reactions.

Clark was taking a break when he heard a scream from the first floor. He rushes to the Bathroom to change into his costume and then quickly heads to the commotion.

But what greets him is the sight of a 7 and a half feet tall green Cicada/Beetle like creature smirking in front of a scared crowd and the lady receptionist holding a card of some sort.

"What do you want, Cell?" Superman said.

"Its, Superman!" cheered the crown inside as if relieved.

"I was gonna ask this lady a few questions but it seems that her assistance is no longer needed." Cell replied as he takes his I.D card back and gives her a devilish smile.

"I don't know what you would want to ask a receptionist in this place specifically but I can answer your questions for you." Superman said as if trying to hide the fact that the green android was about to look for him within this building.

"Oh, no reason I was just wanting to talk. about something." Cell replied again.

"No need to worry guys, this alien here is a member of the Justice League, although a new one thus we have not been able to make a proper announcement." Said Superman as he gestures Cell to leave with him.

As they left the crowd was relieved that there was no threat to endanger them.

They are now very high up above the city making them invisible to the human eye.

They begin to talk.

"So, what do you need Cell?"

"Well, Mr. Clark Kent, I wanted to ask you for something."

"What is it?"

"Fight me!"

"Why? Because I'm bored, everyone here is weak. I'd fight my kids but its more of a training than having fun. I want to fight you again." Cell said as he crosses his arms and smiles.

"No Cell. I'm busy." Superman said.

"Will you truly decline?"

"Yes."

"Oh, come on, just for a while. It'll improve your fighting capabilities too." Cell convinced.

"Fine, but only for an hour. I need to be back at work after lunch break." Superman said.

"Fine by me. That time is enough..." Cell said with a devious smirk.

Cell and Superman head to an uninhabited place full of nothing but rocks and barren wasteland in the southern part of America.

Cell puts his hand up and creates a Spirit Bomb, to start off the attack.

"Hey earth! Give me your stupid energy!" Cell said as he gathers the energy.

When he finishes gatheeing a sufficient amount, rendering it as big as Goku's when he fought Vegeta. He throws it at Superman yelling..."Try to catch this one Superman!"

"What the! It's huge! That thing's dangerous! Don't do it Cell!" Superman yelled.

"Don't worry about it Superman! I'm sure you can handle it!"

Superman flies below and tries to lift the Spirit Bomb with his two hands in a hurry, afraid that it will destroy the entire lands in the vicinity.

Cell points his palm at the miniature Spirit Bomb trying to push Superman back by increasing his control of the Spirit Bomb, and is proving to be quite succesful.

"Come on, surely you can do better than that!" Cell taunted.

'This Battle Maniac! If he destroyed the training room by fighting, then his power will surely endanger these lands.' Superman thought as he struggled against the Spirit Bomb.

Superman used Super Flare, his body glowing orange and lifts the Spirit Bomb and throws it back at Cell. Cell just absorbs the energy back into his body.

Superman said as he puts his fists up in a boxing stance.

"Come at me Superman!" said Cell as he goes into his fighting position amd powers up to Super Saiyan 1.

Superman rushes Cell and he gives him a right hook, Cell catches his fist and punches Superman in the chest, he doesn't let go of Superman's hand and punches him again in the same area twice again.

Superman is seen to have visibly knocked the wind out of him and is about to faint from the amount of immense damage the Cell put out. Cell let's go of his hand to let Superman fall down and struggling to float.

"Hmph, I didnt even use my Super Saiyan 2! You've gotten weak Superman, where'd all that Kryptonian strength go?" Cell taunts.

Superman gets his bearings and uses Freeze Breath, Cell flies out of the way and counters with a regular Ki beam hitting him in the face.

"Come on, you guys have the balls to plot against me and yet you do not possess the strength to actually defeat me." Cell stated, gaining a shocked reaction from Superman.

"W-what are you-" asked Superman but is cut off by Cell.

"Oh really? so that talk you had with Batman wasn't real? I heard you from a mile away! So, we are a threat just because me and my children possess the courage to finish off villains, and you guys decided to plot against me?"

"N-no Cell, we were just discussing what to do if you become-"

"Become what?!"

"W-well, evil."

"Then fight me! Let's settle this once and for all, If you think I'm evil surely you have the guys to put me down." Cell taunts.

"No Cell, I don't want to do that. It was just a pre cautionary measure, you must understand..."

"Understand? you guys invaded my privacy by putting spy cameras and listening devices on my room!" Cell said.

"W-we didn't do that!"

"Excuses don't try to play your self as innocent! Batman and Wonder Woman certainly did! I caught her near my room one time. And considering the Bat hero's tendency of spying, I can contest that the idea was his!"

Cell powers up even further, causing Shockwaves in the air and earthquakes, he rushes Superman at full speed.

"Look, Cell let's talk this out, I'm sure we can find common ground." said superman before he is attacked.

Cell gives him an Uppercut to the stomach, launching him higher up.

"HAAAAA!" Cell grunts as he quickly charges then launches a Galick Gun at Superman.

Superman gets hit and is launched waay higher up, they're at space now.

Superman geta dizzy and Cell takes advantage of this and uses Inatantaneous Movement in front of Superman to give him multiple Barrages of Punches and Kicks.

Superman is dripping with blood.

"Hahahaha, You're a Man of Steel alright, and I can easily crush steel and turn it into dust!" Cell said as he charges another Galick Gun but this time points it towards Earth.

"If you guys branded me as a threat then I'll give you a reason to be one!! HAAAAA!" Cell tries to fire it at earth.

But Superman flies and blocks the beam and activating Super Flare.

"You call yourselves heroes! And yet you try to get rid of one your own!" Cell said.

"Look, I'm sorry if your offended, but-"

"Oh, I'm offended alright! My life's on the line here! Me amd my children's lives! I already almost died once! I won't let it happen for a second time!"

Cell shoots a Ki beam at Superman, but he dodges.

Superman gets behind Cell and punches his side, he then rushes Cell and keeps punching and making him bounce around as if playing Pingpong by himself with Cell as the ball.

"HAHAHAHAHA! That's the spirit! More! Give me more!" said Cell, enjoying the fight.

Cell then puts his arms beside his hips with his fists in front, he then powers up to Super Saiyan 2.

"HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!" (Long DBZ power ups with screaming)

The earth, begins to get covered with dark clouds and afterwards they shoot out lightning. The earth trembles and space is filled with shockwaves.

Cell is covered with an even bigger yellowish energy but this one, its paired with electricity sparking throughiut his body!

"Cell, Ithis is going too far. I'm sorry that we went behind your back to discuss matters about you, but we had good intentions!" Superman reasoned.

"How so?" Cell replied.

"Since you guys were planning to get rid of me and my kids anyway, might as well get rid of every single one of you and get out a huge fight and have fun!" Cell said with a furiously angry face.

"Stop! Cell!"

"I DON'T CARE! I'LL WIPE OUT EVERY SINGLE VERMIN! THOUGH YOU HAVE FOUGHT ALONE, YOU WON'T DIE ALONE I'LL SEND YOU AND THAT MISERABLE PLANET BEHIND YOU INTO DUST!" Cell said as he powers up a Solar Kamehameha.

Back at the watchtower, they could sense a sudden burst of kinetic energy at metropolis, it then heads to outer space and continues to grow, only for it to get a MASSIVE increase, it's like a world ending apocalyptic catastrophy happening or atleast that's what it seems like from earth. Thunderstorm, tornados and earthquakes fill the earth.

"It's Cell, he is fighting Superman! we need to stop him!" Declared Red Tornado.

"Why's he doing this? What's going on?" The flash asked.

"I knew this guy couldn't be trusted and Superman didn't believe me!" Batman said with a hint of venom.

"Cell, asked me where Superman is and that he needed to "settle" things with him, I asked him what business he has with Superman but he just replied with "Oh you'll soon find out" and left." explained Martian Manhunter.

"I need to grab something from the cave, deal with him all of you." commanded Batman.

"Let's go!" said Green Lantern ( John Stewart )

Back at Young Justice HQ.

Cell Jr is keeping watch on all the YJ members and has orders to eliminate them all if they get involved with his daddy's plan or if the Justice League calls them for backup.

'Soon...Soon...' thought Cell Jr.

Krilla teleports shortly after.

"How did your infiltration go?" asked Cell to his daughter.

"You were right, Batman was creating a weapon against you not only that but to the rest of the members as well!" Krilla proudly said as he shows off a gun like tool and crushes it.

"SEE SUPERMAN?! This is the same weapon you guys had against me. And now, the same person you trusted was also willing to betray you! Probably to steal all of the glory and rewards! Cell said angry face and tone.

"No, Batman wouldn't do that without a good reason." Superman reasoned.

"You guys are afraid of me, of us! AFRAID OF OUR POWER AND OUR PERFECTION!"

"He even had Kryptonite agaisnt you and special weapons against the rest of the members! This is treason! Betrayal of the highest order!" Cell justified.

The Justice League arrives.

"Ah, speak of the devil! Nice of you to join us! Here to kill me as well?" Cell asked mockingly.

"What? What are you talking about?" Green Lantern (Hal Jordan) asked.

"Oh, so you have not told them have you Superman? Very well, let me inform you..."

"The security alarm's have been deactivated..."

'It's gone! The Kryptonite powered Railgun equalizer! Its gone! Wait! the security footage!'

'Footage and camera is destroyed, no traces too.' Batman thought.

"Cunning" Batman says as he narrows his eyes beneath his mask.

"Cell!" Batman said as he gets in a Jet.

"And that's what happened, surprised?" Cell asked Hal Jordan.

"What the hell Clark? You guys had secret weapons against everybody?"

"N-no, I was just discussing protocols and contingency plans against Cell, I didn't expect Bruce to go this far!" Superman defended.

"Cell, stop this, It's just another misunderstanding, please STAND DOWN! We'll get Batman and smooth this out!" Said Superman.

"Do you think I'm an idiot?" Cell said.

"I'm not backing off, No way. No way in hell." he said with a smile, but his eyes arent smiling indicating he is serious.

Batman dashes beside Superman as he gets of his Space Vehicle wearing a suit of some kind.

"Batman. Do you know anything about that thing over there?" asked Superman.

Batman doesn't answer.

"Answer the question Bruce!" Hal Jordan asked, now every prominent member gathered together, present to witness this revelation.

"That's mine, a weapon in case of emergency against him." said Batman answering Superman's question.

"SO YOU DO ADMIT THAT YOU WERE TRYING TO DISPOSE OF US!" exclaimed Cell gaining the attention of everybody, as well as part of their sympathy.

"It's a safety precaution, I have one for everyone else too in case anyone else goes rouge.." said Batman.

"It was necessary, should anybody go rogue, who will stop you? Stop us? All of you are my teammates, but we need to be prepared for the worst. Always." Batman added.

Batman then plays an audio from a device.

[ I have come to a realization that the JLA has become large, an organization full of powerful heroes. But it can also doom us. This log contains contingencies in case of a threat posed by a JLA member.

Should Superman turn against us willingly or not, I have a supply of Kryptonite to use against him to ensure our survival.

Martian Man hunter, Jon Jonz is the heart and soul of the Justice League. His incredible speed, strength, shapeshifting powers and mental abilities make him a huge threat should he turn against us. His weakness against fire is hard to exploit against his intelligence and mind reading abilities, but my research suggest that a nanite virus spiked with magnesium would make him combust, neutralizing him as a threat.

As for the ring of the two Green Lanterns, are one of the most powerful weapons in the entire universe limited only by the imagination of the bearer. The ring and it's wielder cannot be separated unless in the event of a death. And it's natural defenses provide protection against direct attacks. A possible weakness would be to break their will or hypnotize them, influencing their will as their power is based on willpower.

And Diana is a good friend, which makes her a difficult opponent to face her in combat. Should she turn against the league, it's not a thought I relish. But should the event arise, a following strategy could be useful such as exploiting her fighting instincts and the anything related to the five senses.

Another threat to deal with is Plastic man, he is able to manipulate his body into any shape, freezing him would be a viable strategy.

As for any other JLA members, are still in development but as of now, Flash can be electrocuted, Green arrow to be immobilized permanently, Zatanna a mental trauma, Red Tornado an EMP, Fire Storm send him into the Phantom Zone, Aqua man, hydrophobia and toxins, Black Canary a tear gas should cut her abilities to speak.

In the event I am passed out, rendered immobile or dead, please understand that this had to be done.

And form myself, Batman…I am a master strategist, but I am only human, The best way to defeat me is to distract myself. My parents are a good vulnerability as is my heroic nature to protect the innocent and fight crime. Taking a hostage might be a good tactic.]

And that was the end of the audio...

"I've successfully studied all Justice Leaguers past and present to neutralize everybody." Batman asserted.

"The path to hell is paved with good intentions. What if you use this against us and kill the others?!" Cell justified, trying to turn the other members against Batman,

"NEUTRALIZE, NOT KILL! The Justice League is one of the most powerful beings and potential threats to the planet and it's people." Batman defended.

"You think one of us would go over to the other side?!" Flash asked.

" OR succumb to mind control, yes it is possible so I developed this contingency plan, and armaments to help. Should the need ever arise, we can contain them. NOT to kill them." Batman clarified once more.

"None of use would do that to you." Superman said.

"Then you're damn fools." Batman replied.

"I have no problems with the intention, but keeping this a secret is pretty damn dumb." Green Lantern (John Stewart) said.

Superman is astonished but knowing Batman he umderstands his sentiment and idea but is against the idea of keeping it a secret.

"I have nothing against any of you but should any of you become a threat, I'll deal with you. And if I do the same, I urge you to deal with me." added Batman.

"Hahahahahahaha!" Cell laughs maniacly.

"He's ordering our demise right in front of us, is this some sort of attempt at psychological warfare?! He admits to keeping tabs against everybody! This has got to be a breach of privacy!" Cell reasoned, plannjng to turn them to his side once more.

Cell didnt really care about the keeping a tab on everybody else thing. He just wants to fight the entire League and maybe get rid of Batman, seeing as he is perceptive and cunning, a master strategist. He would be a threat against him.That was his goal from the very beginning since he joined.

He just needed a perfect alibi, a reason just to mess with them. Similar to how he set the stage for the Cell Games, he had Batman set the stage for this. He knew what Bruce Wayne was like, how he opperates and how he thinks after studying him secretly. He did gather intel and information during his time in the Justice League.

He played everyone for a fool, in the palm of his hands. And now, the rest of the team are gonna turn on Batman for keeping a weapon to himself specifically for each hero and their weaknesses... or at least, thay was how it was supposed to go.

"Why are you guys fine with this! He might as well have bombs strapped on to us at all times if that were the case!" Cell asserted.

"Look, I understand that you are upset, especially since a person you don't know full well and trust has been keeping you on a leash and that aggrevated you. I understand that. But please, trust me when i say that you give him a chance... Give us a chance.

Despite having a difference in morals and reasons for why we are fighting, we are a team now. Place your faith on us and we will do the same." Superman convinces Cell.

'Drat, you win this round!' thought Cell as his plan did not succeed.

"Fine! I yield. I'll drop this matter, but if this information is leaked to the enemy or if it used against me injustly, I will take action!" Cell demanded.

"A reasonable demand." Batman answered.

Cell then telepathically called Cell Jr. [Abort the plan]

[Yes daddy] replied Jr,
