City Hospital.
"Tch. Why isn't she picking up?" Soo Min frowned looking at her phone screen, after hearing her call go to voicemail for the fifth time, this morning.
"Dr. Park, these are the files of the patient you've requested." One of the nurses said as she handed her a blue file.
"Thank you." Soo Min said, flipping through the file whilst holding her phone between her ear and shoulder.
When her phone rang, Soo Min immediately picked up thinking it be Olivia.
"…"
"Finally, you picked up. Do you know how long I was waiting for you to ans—"
"Is that so?" A deep voice reverberated from the other end, stopping Soo Min midway.
"R—Ryan?" Soo Min blinked twice in confusion before she pulled the phone away to check.
'It is him.' Soo Min mused as she read the content name, Ice Statue.
"If not for me, whose call were you expecting?" Ryan's tone darkened.
"No one. Anyways for what did you call?" Soo Min bluntly asked.
"I'll be picking you up from work, today. There's somewhere I need to take you." Ryan responded.
"Can we go tomorrow? There's something I need to do." Soo Min asked.
"I'll pick you up, after your done with your things then." Ryan nonchalantly said before hanging up.
"Wait but—This man! Always does what he wants, hmph!" Shoving her phone back in her pocket, Soo Min continued with the rest of her rounds.
…..
CEO's Office.
"How was that?" Ryan asked, looking back at his assistant.
"I—It was great, young master. But maybe you could be a little more affectionate…" Assistant Yoon trembled with a fake smile.
'And not so domineering, I mean she's your wife not your employee! It's not like I want to get fired, why are you asking me when I don't have a girlfriend myself?!' Assistant Yoon cursed his fate, inwardly.
"Affectionate?" Ryan asked.
"Ah yes! Like talking in a soft manner and buying her presents, complimenting her from time to time, and of course making her feel secure! All of which makes a woman feel cherished." Assistant Yoon added.
"Cherishing her…" Ryan trailed off interlacing his fingers in deep thought.
Amidst his thoughts, Assistant Yoon became alert when he heard a sudden screech of the chair moving.
"Assistant Yoon, I understand what you mean." Ryan said, determinedly before instantly striding out.
"W—What did he understand? Young Master, wait for me!" Assistant Yoon followed him out.

Sunset Boulevard.
Soo Min pressed the button as she waited for her turn to cross the intersection.
While looking around, her eyes landed on the figure of a little boy recklessly running amongst the busy traffic.
"Hey, little boy. Stop running around! It's dangerous." She yelled across but her voice wasn't clearly heard due to the noise of the cars passing by.
"Little Boy!"
HONK! HONK! HONK!
She immediately turned her head to the right and saw the car heading towards his direction.
Not thinking twice, she ran towards the boy. "Little Boy, get out of the way."
Amidst her constant tries she failed to get his attention. Coming closer to him, she wraps her one hand around his shoulder and the other around his head, before diving to the side, with the car just missing them.
"Are you okay, little guy?" Soo Min asked gently patting him.
When she heard no response, she promptly got up and took a look at the little one.
"Hey, what's wrong? Are you hurt?"
The little boy simply shook his head in denial.
Sighing in relief, Soo Min picked up her scattered belongings, and pulled the little one to the side.
…..
Not to long after, Soo Min returned to the hospital with the little guy, she had just met earlier, and took him into her office to treat his wounded knee.
"There you go." Soo Min smiled as she plastered the bandage onto the red part of his knee.
"Now then, would you like to tell me what you were doing there?"
Instead of responding, the little boy took out a little tablet from his small bag and wrote down a few words.
"I ran away from home." Soo Min read aloud, surprised.
"Oh no.. and why did you do that?" She asked.
The boy went back to writing.
"Because my dad was mad at me." Soo Min read again, and continued, "Did you do something to make him mad?"
The boy shook his head, vigorously.
"Are you sure?" Soo Min gazed at him intently.
The boy pursued his lips, and nodded slightly.
"Little one, if your dad gets mad at you, don't run away and instead try to make it up to him. You see, your parents love you very much, and think about how worried he'll be when he finds you missing." Soo Min reasoned.
"Won't he be mad at me, for running away?" The little boy showed her his tablet with a pout.
Chuckling, Soo Min said, "Of course not. I'll tell you what, how about we first call your dad and tell him your here so he won't be too worried, and then you and I can come up with a way to make it up to him, okay?"
The boy nodded and formed a little smile on his lips.
