….
At a restaurant.
"Why did you drag me out of there, were you jealous seeing your ex moving on with you?" Luna asked, frowning.
"No." Alex gritted his teeth, before he continued, "Babe, I only care about you. I always have, but I had a reason to. That man, Ryan Song, he isn't just a nobody, he's—"
"He won't be with her for long. At most, for a few months but most likely after that they'll divorce and he will leave her just like you left her, so what's worrying you so much." Luna said as she ate.
"That man is the CEO of Glamour!" Alex said abruptly standing up.
Upon hearing that, Luna dropped her fork. "WHAT?"
"Yes. Hes my boss. After finding out that his wife was my ex, I really don't know what's going to happen to me and my job." Alex said frustratedly ruffling his hair.
'No wonder he looked so familiar. That damn bitch! How could she land on such a rich and powerful man, while here I'm stuck with this mere employee. I thought I was able to snatch her happiness away, by boasting our relationship, but she won a jackpot!' Luna squeezed her hand tightly in anger.
…..
Skyville Residence.
"Boss. We're here." Assistant Yoon informed.
Ryan nodded and turned to look at Soo Min, who was sitting in that same stiff manner that she was in throughout the car ride.
"Come. I'll drop you off." Ryan said, slowly removing his hand from her waist and finally letting her breathe.
"No it's fine. You need to be on your way anyway, I can go by myself." Soo Min said, but it was like Ryan payed no heed to her words, as he was already standing there outside of the car.
Sighing, Soo Min stepped out the car and walked alongside him towards the apartments.
Not to far from them, a man was watching them intently from the inside of an suv.
…..
In her apartment.
Tossing the keys on the counter, Soo Min walked over to the fridge to grab a bottle of water.
"At least, he didn't ask to hold hands or something, or else it would turned into one of those cheesy drama scenes." Soo Min mumbled while twisting the bottle cap before drinking some water.
Feeling refreshed, Soo Min was about to place the bottle on the counter, when she saw some shattered glass pieces fallen on the floor.
Soo Min leaned down to examine the pieces, before her mind reached to a plausible conclusion, but when she saw a few black foot prints, she knew exactly what was going on.
'I need to call someone and get out of here.' She mused, before quickly getting back up.
There was an ominous silence. Her eyes glanced behind her and she caught the reflection of a man in the kitchen window.
"Aaaaaah." Soo Min immediately screamed when she saw the man.
Hyeon Dae Hyun stepped into the well lit area, where she could clearly see him and his heavy duty hammer.
"Hold on. T—There are literally so many tools to choose from. Then why a h—hammer?" Soo Min placed her hands in front of her as if she was ready to fight.
"You probably don't know this but I'm actually a black belt. That day Ryan didn't let me showcase my skills or else I would've gone all out. Three in taekwando and two in hapkido." Soo Min said in a fighting stance.
"A total of six!" Soo Min boasted nervously.
"That's five." Hyeon Dae Hyun corrected.
"Right. Five. Three and two. Five." Soo Min recalculated whilst switching her fighting stance. "That's why if you come at me you won't stand a chance."
When Hyeon Dae Hyun stepped forward, Soo Min pretended to throw a kick, but immediately went behind her couch to buy her some time.
"Don't come near me!" Soo Min yelled frantically throwing pillows and some heavy objects at him, moving from one side to another as he tried to catch her.
"No, don't come near me." Soo Min yelled even more loudly, before throwing a stack of paper at him and immediately ran to the other side.
He promptly ran behind her, while she hid behind a table, constantly throwing whatever was accessible to her.
"Go away! Hey!" She gasped, running here and there, as he chased her with his hammer.
"D—Don't come near me!" Soo Min yelled fanning him away with a mat that she found, before she fell to the ground being backed by a wall.
Hyeon Dae Hyun immediately raised his hammer readily at her, and raised it to hit her when he was interrupted by someone.
"Wait! We have a problem." One of his subordinates yelled, interrupting him.
He immediately left her side and walked towards the door. "This better be good." Hyeon Dae Hyun threatened before opening the door.
"Damn it. Ahh." His subordinate hissed in pain, as his hand was being twisted by another man.
"It's me." Hyeon Dae Hyun was startled when he saw the man behind his subordinate.
