Chapter 66: Coming Closer Together

Several minutes into the movie.
Soo Min's eyes started to get heavier and it was hard to keep them open for long. She yawned a couple times, before Ryan noticed.
"Why don't you just sleep for a bit? You haven't had any proper rest for three days already." He insisted.
"No I'll be fine. Besides, when I was little my mom used to tell me that you can't…. just… just sleep anywhere…. or… or at any… time…" Soo Min's breathing had become steady and she unknowingly rested her sleepy head on Ryan's shoulder.
"Silly girl, look at you now. Sleeping just like a baby." Ryan said softly before kissing her forehead.
'She feels a little warm.' He mused.

Two hours later.
Everyone stared and recorded as they watched the bossy president carry his sleeping wife in his arms.
Ryan didn't care about them recording, all he wanted to make sure that his wife's sleep wasn't disturbed and so he strode quickly past the crowd.
Assistant Yoon had brought the car right in front of the movie theater, according to his boss's instructions.
He quickly stepped out and opened the door for his boss.
Ryan gently placed Soo Min's head on his lap, and covered her up with a blanket, before they drove off.
Slowly, he swept some of her hair to the side and noticed her scrunch her nose in her sleep, which made him smile softly.
While trying to adjust herself into a comfortable position, Soo Min unconsciously grabs Ryan's hand and hugs it in her sleep.
Assistant Yoon watched them in the rear view mirror and chuckled.
'She looks so cute sleeping like this. She must've been really tired for her to sleep so easily in the theater.' Ryan wondered.
"Yoon, set up a meeting with the city hospital's director." Ryan instructed.
"Yes boss." Assistant Yoon answered.
Amidst her constant shuffling, Soo Min accidentally hit her leg on the car door when she stretched her body a little.
"Ouch!" Soo Min winced before opening her eyes, surprised to see Ryan looking down on her.
"What are we doing here?" Soo Min asked, slowly straightening herself up.
"You were sleeping in my lap, and I was simply just looking at you." Ryan casually answered.
'This guy does he have no sense of shame.' Soo Min said feeling a little embarrassed from their previous position.
When she tried to shuffle a little to the other end of the car, Ryan securely wrapped his hand around her waist and pulled her closer to him.
"When we're already this close, why try to back away now?" Ryan softly asked, hugging her waist.
"What?" Soo Min whispered, but Ryan only smiled at her.
