Jasper jumped to the side and set down Blackfire before quickly turning around to block the punch the man had thrown at him. Jasper widened his eyes however feeling both arms snap in half, and it didn't even look like he was trying. Who was this random man who had followed him?

"You won't win!" Jasper yelled fully ghouling out with the shadows condensing around him, He hadn't come all the way to earth to lose to some random guy in the woods, if he was going to lose then it needed to be someone like Darkseid to do it, or else it simply hurt his pride.

The man smiled and swiped his right hand over his left revealing a small 1.5-inch knife. "Kids grow up so fast..." The man said slicing down with the knife and cutting all the trees within a 100-foot radius and also getting a deep gash into Jasper's chest, causing said Ghoul to yell out in frustration and pain.

"Who... are you..." Jasper said breathing heavily as his wounds simply refused t close. The man smiled and waved his hand causing the knife to disappear.

"Me?... It doesn't really matter if I tell you... the others have kept no record of me... all simply because they are scared of my power... They call me... The God Sage" The God Sage put his hands up to his sides with a smile as Jasper looked at him in confusion.

"Don't sweat it, kid... No one knows me anymore... But I did need to talk to you about something... In 2 weeks... that God that threw you into this world... the one fucking with everything... He'll come to this world briefly... would you like the chance to kill him?" The God Sage asked, causing jaspers eyes to widen...

Jasper widened his eyes, instantly believing what this man was saying. There was no one who knew about his origins, even people who have read his mind had that blocked, so he was sure that this guy was the real deal.

"Why?... If you're on his level... why tell me?" Jasper asked looking at The God Sage suspiciously. The God Sage just smirked and flashed forward at a speed that Jasper wasn't able to comprehend. "Maybe another time... but until then... here, a gift..." The God Sage said smirking as he snapped his fingers and walked away before disappearing into a small flash of light.

"Hm... Jasper checked off... Should I visit that one kid?... I also need to visit that overpowered one as well so this should be fine... sigh, what was that kid thinking resetting the timeline... what an asshole... Wonder who will win though... Nisus or Eli..." The God Sage smirked as his eyes glowed.

"I can't wait... all you bastards in the heavenly realm... you seriously thought that siphoning off my power would stop me?... Now look... as I let my creations destroy you..." The God Sage let out a small evil laugh as he flashed away...

Jasper on the other hand sat still looking at the small knife that was now in his hands. This was the same knife the god sage had used... but why would he need it?

Jasper didn't think too much and strapped it to his side before picking Blackfire back up and leaving the area... hopefully headed to a city, that would be useful to find out what the hell is going on.

He would need to also make a plan for Batman it seemed. For some reason the said person had gone completely nuts, killing people... but what scared him more was the fact that he had smiled, a trait never seen before except for that time he had done it to get him and Raven to calm down and act normal instead of acting like Normal kidnapped children.

"Ugh... my head... what happened?" Blackfire finally woke up after the events with little to no memory of it. All she could really remember was when they crashed and then everything went blank. Jasper let out a sigh of relief as he threw her to the side.

"You're heavy as fuck" He said giving an excuse to drop her as he continued walking. Blackfire immediately had her mood ruined by his words and jumped up before walking next to him embarrassedly.

It didn't take a genius to know you'd been saved... but it did make her feel like shit knowing that it had been Jasper who'd saved her... hopefully, she'd forget otherwise she didn't know how she would handle it.

"Welcome to earth... or maybe not... who knows anymore..." Jasper said sighing as they looked down from a small hill, overlooking a small town that looked more or less abandoned, but it would make do for a hideout or temporary shelter until he found out the rest of events after Darkseid's departure...

"Earth?... That doesn't seem too bad" Was what Blackfire said before Jasper grabbed her arm pulling her close to dodge the bullet shot at them. Looking back in not so surprise he smirked slightly. "I'm glad you're here... but did you need to shoot at us?... geez that's no way to treat your brother Jason..." Jasper said to the man smirking as he held his Glock 22's in both hands, eyeing Blackfire up and down before ultimately ignoring her and walking close hugging him quickly as they sat down to catch up, this time both of them forgetting the Princess of Tamaran on the side of them...

"So... how's life?" Jasper decided to ask the true question as Jason started to talk about the various things that had happened. "They made an... Injustice league?... and they were all killed by Batman... then... now the justice league is preparing to go against Bruce?... That doesn't matter... what truly matters is... who's side are we on?" Jasper asked with his head tilted as Jason smirked.

"I've always wanted to fight pops... but I'll go along with whatever... and also so will the team," Jason said standing up as a few people came out from behind the trees. Jasper knew they were there of course but didn't say anything so Jason could have his reveal.

"Wonder Girl, Stargirl, Supergirl... and Raven..." Jasper stated the names of the people with a smile... then scrunched up his eyebrows seeing another figure. "And the devourer..." Jason said patting Sarah's arm as Jasper looked at her with no expression except some relief.

"Ok... let's do it then..." Jasper said smiling at his new team, something no one had to agree on... it was obvious who was the leader.

"I'm the leader," Jason said smiling before catching Jaspers glare and smirking even wider. "You wanna fig-" Was all he said before being put on his ass... "Jasper's the leader..."

And so the League was born... the league of what?... who knows...
