"We forgot the melons, finish up while I go get them," said. Tatiana

"Okay, hurry back, "said Jack.

She picked up the melons and turned to leave but someone caught her arm.

"Excuse me " she turned to see a woman covered in a veil.

"Yes, may I help you ?" she asked.

She slowly pulled away the veil and smiled, "Remember me "

Tatiana frowned."You're the lady from the restaurant, Alex something ".

"Glad you still remember me, can we talk," she said.

"Maybe next time am really busy now "

Her hold on her arm tightened, "Please it will help you and I won't take long ".

Tatiana sighed and nodded. They moved to the cafe and she sat down with her.

"Let me tell my boyfriend to go ahead and not wait up ".

"Just don't tell him you're with me "

She called Jack and told him to go ahead, he wanted to wait but she claimed she had seen an old friend and they were going to chat for a long.

"Okay, what is it you want ?" she asked the moment she put away the phone.

"It's about Jack," Alex said.

"And what about my fiance ?"

Alex sighed, "His lying to you," she said.

"Lying to me, about what exactly ?"

"Everything, what he's doing right now is nothing but a plan "

"And what is he going to achieve from this plan of his ?" Tatiana asked.

Alex sighed, "You don't seem to believe me "

"Why would I, You appear nowhere and tell me my fiance is planning something ... I don't know would you believe it too ?".

Alex held her hand, "You might think it's because of our past relationship but it's not. He did the same thing with me and then left me ".

"So what? you mean he wants something from me ?"Tatiana smirked, "Look at me and ask yourself what he could possibly what from me am not even considered rich " she laughed.

Alex frowned, "You. might think am jealous but I only did this cause I don't want him to add another victim to his list ".

"Ohh, so now he even has a list, Listen Alex am grateful you drove all this way just to tell me this but please stay away from I some want anything to do with you " Tatiana got up to leave.

But Alex grabbed her hand, "Do you know who helped that bartender to capture you, it was me "

"Hear yourself, you joined hands with a criminal to kidnap me and for what exactly?"

"It was to stop Jack's plans from going further, if you appeared there that night then your life was going to take a turn for worse and he would have you in his hands "

"Alex please stop, you don't know what I went through just because of your selfishness. Leave me and Jack alone ".

"Am sorry about what happened I didn't know that guy was a lunatic but I was trying to help you "

"Help me with what, there is nothing Jack would want from me apart from loving me so please stop filling me with this nonsense and let us be ".

Alex fell silent gazing at Tatiana.

"Think hard, what is it exactly that the Avil family especially Jack would want from you .. there must be something but you're just not minding and are too blinded by his handsome face ".

Tatiana pushed away Alex's hand and got up again, "Alex am going to say this that last time, "Stay away from me and Jack or any of my family members. I won't say anything to anyone about your involvement in my kidnapping so take it as a favour for making you stay away ".

She walked away not turning back.

Alex watched her leave and held back her tears.

"When he breaks your heart as he did mine then maybe we will have another chat " she sniffed.
