Forgive Me.

Tatiana was having dinner with Patrica when a knock came at the door.

Patricia opened it for the drunk Steve to walk in.

"Tatiana, Ana..." he whispered.

She got up running to him., "Steve where have you been"

"Clearly at the bar, look at him" Patricia moved back.

"Am sorry, Ana?" he said. She helped him to the living room. Patricia bought some water and helped him drink it

"It's okay, you lay down & we can talk tomorrow," she said.

"Am sorry I wasn't there to protect you. I let my anger control me and I almost lost you" he said.

"You didn't lose me am still here," she said.

"I know you love him " he hiccuped, "but I will try my best to make you forget him so that all you can think about and love is me... I promise"

She sighed and turned to Patricia who was watching them.

"Sounds like war" she mouthed.

She turned away from her and gazed back at Steve.

"Go to sleep we will talk when your sober," she said laying him down.

"I should thank Eric, he talked me out of giving up. He a good friend" he murmured closing his eyes.

Tatiana got up, "What did Eric tell him"

Patricia giggled, "Eric helped in starting a war between two men who seem to be in love with you. If Jack wants to get you back, he's going to have to face Steve. Who seemed to be determined to win you back"

Tatiana sighed walking away.

Steve woke up with a headache. Tatiana had left for work already. She left him a note telling him to rest and have some breakfast. They would talk when she got back.

He groaned rubbing his head, he took a shower changed and had breakfast.

Tatiana was in a meeting with Jack and others when her secretary came in.

"what is it?" she asked

"Your boyfriend is here and is asking to see you". She whispered.

"Take him to my office," she said and went back to the meeting.

They walked out after a few minutes she thanked them for attending and walked ahead.

"Miss Kennel" Jack called she stopped and turned to face him.

"Yes".

He stopped in front of her smiling, "You look better".

"Am recovering thank you?" she said blinking.

"I wanted to know if you are free this evening, can we have....." he stopped when someone called.

"Ana..." Steve shouted.

Everyone turned to see who had shouted. He ran to her and turned her to face him, he held her hands and looked into her eyes.

"Ana, am so sorry about what I did," he said.

"Steve I said it was okay, let go to my office and we can talk," she said.

He shook his head, "No, I want to know now if you have forgiven me"

She gulped looking at the eyes all on them.

"I forgive you Steve and I was never angry with you," she said.

"Thank you," he said pulling her into his arms... Without warning kissing her. She froze in his arms as he kissed her feeling his soft lips on hers.

Jack felt his anger raise as he watched Steve kiss Tatiana in happiness. He had paused in place but slowly walked away as the others clapped for the couple.

Steve pulled away smiling at Tatiana who seemed to be still in shock at the unexpected kiss. She noticed Jack was gone, looking around she saw him disappear out of the door.
