Asahi couldn't be happier after learning Ddraig's actions through Klyscha. The Heavenly Dragon even promised to return to Klyscha after finding Tiamat's treasures, which were scattered throughout the world. How she would accomplish it on her own was beyond him?
'Ruby played a pivotal role.'
Without Ruby's constant provocations, Ddraig would take more time to learn the consequences of her own actions.
Leaving Ddraig, he arrived at Grayfia's door. The maid usually kept the door open. Today was an exception — she wanted some time alone.
She sensed his presence and opened the door, showing up with a smile as if nothing was wrong. "My Lord, come inside."
Asahi peeked into the room to find Grayfia's white headphones lying on the bed. She was listening to music, which she only did in her free time or when she felt troubled.
"Don't try to act tough." Asahi pulled her into the room and forced her to sit. "Is Venelana's presence bothering you? Just say it, and I'd—"
"My Lord!" Grayfia pressed her finger to his lips before he finished his judgment. "It's nothing like you imagine. I am just… conflicted."
Asahi smiled as she opened up her heart. If push came to shove, he will send Venelana away to cure Grayfia's grief. He adored the devil maid as she occupied a big part of his life; Venelana had yet to reach the same level of affection.
"Why, though? Venelana is back to her life, smiling and laughing."
"I asked you to conquer the Underworld to prevent tragedies like her… but I caused another tragedy to my idol." Grayfia hung her head. "Every time I look at Venelana, I feel the weight of my whimsical decision to start the war. She reminds me of her life… that I destroyed with my decision."
"It's great that you empathize with Venelana for her loss. However, can you deny the good the war brought to the Underworld?"
She couldn't help but shake her head. Her race was headed for doom, with a massive civil war looming on the horizon — a rebellion from those who grew dissatisfied with Lucifer and his peers' reign.
"Count the casualties of our war. Sirzechs, four Devil Kings, and one mom-con son of a bitch. Now compare that to an actual war for world domination." Asahi held her shoulders. "I will bring her son back and even marry her. I'll do everything to keep her happy, even happier than she ever was with her husband. So, can you please listen to your man and stop beating yourself over Venelana?"
He never thought a day would come when he'd have to console his lover by telling her his plan to seduce a married woman. And the best part… Grayfia giggled as if she found it amusing.
"Marrying a woman because I'm sad, is My Lord that generous?" Grayfia trailed her question with a smirk. "Or he is attracted to the charming widow?"
Asahi raised his hands. "My answer is both. If you don't want it—"
Grayfia held his shoulders and slowly pushed him down. "I'm a lowly housemaid. I have no power to dictate your actions. All I can do is nod my head to My Lord's desires."
"Do you know what my desire is right now?"
"I know it very well," she whispered as her tail snuck inside his shorts and coiled around his bulge. "My Lord wants to be naughty."
"Correct."
She straddled his waist, lowered her dress, and guided him inside her.
The following few minutes became a sight no children were allowed to see, yet the fox-eared girl and her companion were drawn to the noise. With no one to supervise them and Asahi immersed in pleasure with his naughty maid, the two peeked into the room out of curiosity.
In the room's darkness, Grayfia wildly rode Asahi, her devil wings and tail drawing scary shadows.
Haruhime closed the door just as quickly and dragged Ais. Sweat rolled down her forehead as she made a mad dash for the next hallway. She got to her knees, joined her hands, and furiously prayed to every god out there.
'Please, please, please. Make it so Otou-sama didn't see us.'
She couldn't expect forgiveness time and time again. Especially not after Ray patiently explained everything about the reunion between a man and a woman.
She lost her last family because of a minor mistake, sold to nobles looking for a slave. Losing the family's warmth again terrified her more than the dungeon monsters.
Ais shook Haruhime's shoulders. "What happened…? What is Onii-san and… maid lady doing?"
Ais inquired, realizing her friend had knowledge about the moans and groans filling the room. That act terrified Haruhime.
"Yeah, Haruhime. Explain."
Suddenly, a soft voice drifted into Haruhime's ears. She was shocked to hear the voice and even more shocked to see the woman come from behind her.
"L-Lilith Oba-san."
Lilith clicked her tongue then smiled brightly. "What did you see there? I'm curious."
Haruhime averted her gaze from the sunny smile and tried to find the most polite way to express the licentious act happening in the other room. "T-They're being intimate with each other. W-Why are you here?" She quickly flipped the topic, a skill she picked up from her Otou-sama.
"Oh, I came to help with the marriage. What kind of concubine would I be if I didn't assist the legal wives? Are you free to help me out?"
"I… have a fight," Ais replied. "I shouldn't be here…"
Ais had told her about the fight but she came with him, nonetheless. Now that he was out of the picture, she wanted to return and help Riveria.
Haruhime sighed, relieved that none of them pursued the sex topic.
Lilith turned to Haruhime. "Will you help me?"
She planned to bring up the topic of becoming Haruhime's mother after the fox girl became more comfortable with her. Rushing this relationship won't work.
"Ah, I-I can't do it today." Haruhime bowed until her back was parallel to the ground. "I'm really sorry."
Lilith patted Haruhime's head, feeling up her fox-ears. "Don't be sorry. His Imperial Majesty's garden is full of talented flowers. I'll find someone else."
Haruhime bowed again. "Can I please ask you to look after Ais until Otou-sama is free?"
(I will send Ais back to her Familia.)
Haruhime heard a mysterious voice in her head, then Ais disappeared.
"Sneaky Klyscha." Lilith thought it was her opportunity to do something for Haruhime but Klyscha stole her opportunity.
Haruhime quelled her curiosity about the mysterious Klyscha and sprinted through the hallway. Lilith noticed Haruhime went in the same direction as Asahi's current room and sharpened her eyes.
'Is she going to join them? Klyscha, tell me.'
(Nope.)
Lilith nodded and smacked her lips. "Where do I find helpers now…?"
(I know the right people you're looking for. They'd love to do chores for my love.)
