CHAPTER 1: SO I'M DEAD AGAIN?

( In an endless void with infinite space in every direction and completely empty. well empty except for a particular person. if we look closer we see the person is an unconscious boy around 15 years old wearing tattered clothing that was ripped and burnt in some places. the boy suddenly opens his eyes.)

Timmy: where am i? (Timmy tries to look around but sees nothing)what happened?

Mai: "you died"

Timmy: "I died?"

Mai: " yes"

Timmy: "again?"

Mai: "yes again. you don't remember?"

Timmy: " no I don't can you tell me?"

Mai: " of course I can. when the Young Justice team wanted to stop black beetle's last attack on the earth he was going to be vaporized by the chrysallis because he was too slow but you pushed him out of the way and you died instead. but not before saying ' I guess I can be a hero after all' that line was so cringe I almost fainted from laughing hahaha"

Timmy:" yeah yeah. laugh all you want. I thought it would be a cool way to go out. I can't believe I'm being made fun of by an imaginary voice in my head "

Mai: "I'm not imaginary. I'm the most advanced AI in the multiverse. in some ways I'm even more real than you are you better apologize or I'm not telling you were you are"

Timmy: "alright I'm sorry. yo don't have to yell directly into my brain. so is this hell cause I know I didn't do anything bad enough for me to go to hell. In fact I should be on the highest point in heaven and I don't think this is heaven"

Mai: "of course this isn't heaven or hell for that matter. you were banished from the after life after making fun if the goddess of death "

Timmy: " oh yeah. I remember that. it was totally worth it. she was really annoying. so where am I anyway?"

Mai: "you're in some kind of void whose job is to be completely empty so it has been eating away at your soul"

Timmy:" for real ? okay"

Mai: "you're not worried?"

Timmy: "well it's not the first time."

Mai: " you should be worried because this void was created by a mid- tier deity so if we don't do anything in the next five minutes your soul will be gone for good this time. "

Timmy: "well that sounds bad"

Mai: "of course not. the only reason we've lasted this long is because I've been sustaining your soul with your powers."

Timmy: " thanks I didn't know you cared "

Mai:" the only reason I did that is because is your soul is gone then I disappear as well"

Timmy: " you could be a little nicer you know. so how do we get out of here?"

Mai: I have a method but I'm not completely sure if it will work. your soul might end up exploding. I have no way of knowing what universe you'll get sent to. and I can't make your body the same age as you are right now.

Timmy: if it's that or dying a slow painful death then I don't mind as long as there are people and I'm not a baby so go ahead . I can't stand not being able to walk for two years .

Mai:" you're still able to make jokes in this situation? fine I'll save us again"

Timmy: "Wait!"

Mai: "what now?"

Timmy: " what about Charles and everyone else"

Mai: "he protected everyone with a force field so they should be fine. he isn't as reckless as you are so he should be able to survive in the young justice universe without you"

Timmy: " that's good to hear. alright get me out of here."

( Timmy starts glowing green and white with a hint of some other colors before disappearing)
