Chapter 27: The Race

"Are you kidding me? Why would I wear that suit -- and it's green! I hate green, you know that, Mr. Stark? What's more! I'm the one who should be the driver of the Stark Industries to this event but I don't expect you to join this race!" Kai complained in an irritated tone.

When Tony agreed to let him participate in the race, he cheered in joy. But he never thought that Tony also joined with him and stole his position as a racer of the company. 

"I DON'T CARE IF THIS MAN SPONSORED US! BUT LETTING HIM AS THE DRIVER OF THIS IMPORTANT EVENT WAS UNFAIR! YOU KNOW THAT I'M DESPERATE TO WIN THE TROPHY! (Speaking in French)" A french racer cried out.

"Are you f.u.c.k.i.n.g kidding me?! Why the higher-up let this boy who has milk in his mouth stole my position as the racer of this tournament? It was obvious in his hand that he had never tested this type of vehicle. (Speaking in French)" The racer of Osborn Corp also complained and insulted Kai.

These two racers dreamed of winning the championship. However, by the power of capitalism they couldn't. That's why Kai and Tony stole their responsibility to win the game.

"Are you insulting me you piece of shit? (Speaking in Russian)" Kai cursed him while rolling up his sleeves wanting to punch the guy.

"Wowowoahh, calm down. Just wear the suit because the race will start soon. You should be glad that I used my power and connection just to let you enter the race." Tony intervened and stopped him.

"Haa, I am glad that you made an effort, Mr. Stark. But these f.u.c.k.e.r.s like Green Lantern! Good thing it's not animated or else, I will impale that fcking driver who was staring at me like I'm his greatest enemy who stole his fcking wife!" Kai grumbled in an annoying tone.

"Green Lantern? What's that?" Tony asked curiously.

"I don't know either." Kai answered.

"Shut your mouth, Brat! You think I couldn't understand english?" The driver heard what he said before removing his helmet.

"What the f.u.c.k is this? Even this motherfcker's hair is green! Do these people love the environment or something?" Kai replied in a sarcastic tone.

Kai didn't wait for long as he noticed the race would start at any moment. He entered the vehicle before examining the car.

"I can't watch this anymore. Kid, the race is not a child's play. I could say that you're not -" The French man wanted to convince Kai because he noticed a problem with him.

"Suck a d*ck, Plankton! Get the fck out of here!" Kai said, then wore his helmet afterward.

The man's eyebrows twitched and decided to leave since it's not his business if an accident happened. Only he doesn't know that there is something else.

"Geez, Kid. The guy wanted to say something but you just …. Haaa. Anyway, wanna bet? If I win, I want you to go to school and give your brain some education." Tony commented.

"Does Mama Bear convinced you to let me have school? How about this, if I win I want you to make me a suit that are different but had the same concept like yours, how about that?" Kai mischievously said.

"Hahaha you have no idea that I'm a former champion in the Gran Prix before. Alright, deal!" Tony grinned and entered the vehicle.

"Snow, are you in?" Kai said.

"Yes Onii-chan. I already bypassed the system, what do you want me to do?" Snow replied.

"Connect me to Tony's earpiece and... give me a way to drive these things." Kai sheepishly said.

"VROOOM!"

All of the racer cars turn on their engines. It was so loud and there might be a possibility that it could break the eardrums of the racers if they don't have protective equipment. 

"Kid, what the fuck!!! Leave the race now!!" Tony cried out.

He learned from Snow that Kai has no experience nor ideas to run the car. Tony knew that this type of vehicle was different from the standard cars. Sometimes he wanted to smack his head for being forgetful because he was too focused on his blood toxicity. He was being careless that the kid was stupid and have no fear to everything which makes Kai convinced him to join the race because Tony thought the kid could drive since he loved cars. However, expectations are sometimes harsh.

"Hahahaha! Nope! Look Tony, the people helping us have already left the road. Ohh this will be fun!" Kaios cheerfully said.

Tony wanted to smack the kid for being an idiot.

"Snow, help him to understand the procedure to drive this type of car." Tony said.

"On it."

"Kid after this race, you're grounded." Tony added.

"What? Did you say handsome? I know I'm handsome. Goodluck, Mr. Stark." Kaios replied then turned off the call.

"Kid! Kid! JS-1 connects me through his earpiece." Tony asked.

"Denied. Kaios blocked all of the communication because he said he wanted to focus on the race." Snow replied.

"Give me the whole access of your system to JARVIS." Tony said while thinking of a plan.

"Permission denied." 

"What?! I'm your creator!"

"Kaios was my owner." 

Tony was dumbfounded on this development. He never thought that his own creation would deny him which makes him frustrated. He knew that Kai had no interest on programming nor on science. The kid only interested on games, training, vehicles, and girls like a typical useless teenager nowadays. He thought someone would help him to program Advanced Artificial Intelligence like Klaus and The Twins. Even though Klaus was hopeless perverted kid, he was genius on mechanics plus with the help of twins who was prodigy on science. They could even skip many levels of education but Mama Bear insisted to enjoy their school life.

The packs have many types of geniuses in their own perspective fields like Business, Programming, other fields in Science, etc. They were powerhouse team especially when they work together but Kaios was the anomaly in the group. His style was likely a solo type fighter since his attacks were aggressive. Even Kai knew he was made to be a fcking weapon, he knew how to kill, steal, espionage, and other forms of fight. Kai was their backbone and a weapon. Even though he was stupid, idiot, and perverted kid, don't ever judged him by the way he acted since Kai was cunning individual.

Even the packs knew Kai was the most dangerous killer they knew. He may look like it but he was also smart even though he had no interest in the educational field because he only followed what makes him happy. They couldn't change a person who had a simple dream but it was a good thing if Kai was an evil person then he would be the most wanted person in the world.

Back to Tony, seeing the kid was confident he returned his attention to the race because if the kid would win the race, he would be the troublesome person who will annoy him especially when they bet. Imagining giving Kai an Ironman suit, it would definitely give disaster in the future.

"Good day everyone! You can see in the list that there was a change in the driver of Stark Industries and Osborn. Tony Stark is the new….. wait Tony Stark?? Ahemm, everyone let's cheer to our humble Ironman in the race. Lastly, in the side of Osborn, the new driver is Kaios Ivanov. No more information about him but I can tell a substitute driver of Osborn company."

"LADIES AND GENTLEMAN, THE GRAND PRIX WILL START IN 20 SECONDS!!!" 

The announcer told information and the time of the race.

"20….. 19… 17.. 10… 3.. 1!!!"

"VROOOMMM!"

The high pitch sound of the engine roared the entire stadium. All of them started to run.

"No. 1 in the leading racer is Tony Stark! Followed by Paul Stuart… next is John W….."

Kails Ivanov was from the 6th place then became 15th place. Driving F1 cars was different from Audi R8(gifted by Tony) the car he had since all of the racers was too fast, different from the streets of New York. One mistake could give you problems.

"Damn these cunning f.u.c.k.e.r.s, can they give me a chance to get through?" Kaios murmured.

Kai was focused on driving since it was his first time driving this kind of car. It was hard to compete against this professional racer who was cunning and fast. Kai loved cars especially his Audi R8 gifted by Tony but driving this kind of car is hard.

"Kai, get through them when you have a chance. A car behind us wanted to get through while following your back. I suggest you overtake the racer in front of you when you arrived at the zigzag road." Snow suggested.

"Fuck! I know but these guys were hard to deal with. By the way, what about Tony? How is he?" Kai asked while sweating hard.

"He's in the 1st place of the race.. oh he was in the 2nd place as of now." 

"WHAT?! NOOOO!" Kai shouted.

Kai shivered when he imagined going to school if he lost in the bet. This time, he gets more serious which makes him deeply focus on the road. The world was in slow motion in his vision. 

He saw a chance to get through and overtake many cars ahead. Now he was in 7th place which caused a big uproar from the crowd since he was too fast even though he came from the bottom place.

Meanwhile, a man with a toothpick pick in his mouth walked in on the road of the race. The crowds saw him and tried to get the fck out him but his clothes suddenly burned out. He is wearing a mechanical suit and holding an electric whip in his hands.

He was rotating the electric whip in his hands. The ground broke and melted when it was hitted by it.

While rotating and warming up his whip, a 1st place racer wanted to drive through but the man in a whip slashed the whole car into a half molten car including the driver.

Tony who was following at the back abruptly stepped on the brake but because of the velocity, he couldn't stop it monetarily. The man in a whip slashed his vehicle and targeted the front wheel and tyre which resulted in the vehicle to fly. Good thing it stopped monterarily after it was blocked by a wreckage car.

Good thing that Tony is alive. He slowly left the car and looked towards the guy who almost killed him. He was shocked when he saw that the guy had an arc reactor on his body, thinking maybe this man stole his arc reactor.

Meanwhile, Kaios saw the situation was disaster. Many drivers immediately escaped from the chaos when they noticed it but instead of following them he didn't stop and pressed the pedal to speedup his speed to help Tony who was in a dire situation. 

"Fuck, the kid is right. Maybe I should make a suit that was easy to call and wear." Tony murmured.

"Who are you? Why do you also have my arc reactor? Did you steal it?" Tony said.

"I didn't steal anything." The man said with a strong russian accent.

The guy immediately slashed his whips and Tony evaded it. He continuously evaded all of the incoming attacks from him. He stepped back and hid behind the car while holding a broken door of a car.

The guy slowly walked to his location and slashed the vehicle and then examined if he really killed Tony. Unfortunately, he didn't see the dead body of Tony so he tried to find him but he was struck by Tony from behind. Feeling the pain on his head, he slashed his whip to Tony but it was blocked by him using the broken car door as a shield.

Tony was blown away and almost lost his consciousness.

"Ugh this guy wanted me dead." Tony murmured.

The guy walked to him while rotating his whips, Tony thought this was his final moment of his life. He already saw the glimpse of happy memories like the face of his caring mother, the grumpiness of his father, and lastly his new family including The Packs, Kaios, Mama Bear, White Bear, Happy and Pepper. 

"Hahaha you lose!" The guy said and wanted to end Tony's life.

Fortunately, the roaring engine of the car was loud, and the Russian man stopped his momentum to see the incoming car trying to hit him.

Kai who was driving sighed in relief when he stopped the man but the result is he was now his target. Seeing the man readying his whips to hit him, Kaios immediately removed the seatbelt of the car while trying to have a nice position in case something happened after this moment.

Kai saw the man already made his move, slashed his whips downward when he felt the right timing to attack. Kai predicted if he didn't move he would be killed by him especially when he was in a bad situation. He jumped to evade the incoming attack, in a slow motion he saw the car explode. 

Kai was on the air but his sights focused on the man with killing intent. The electric whip was going to hit him and it was impossible to avoid it while in the air especially if a normal person was the target, they would die in a horrific way. But Kai was different, he evaded the attack by doing sideflip. He did the impossible move while in mid air.

*Zzzpp*

Even in slow motion, Kai could feel the strong energy coming from the whip. Before he would land, he used the chance to kick the guy since it was the best moment to attack him even though his body was in a reversal position.

"HAAA!!" Kai shouted with strong emotion as he threw a kick towards the neck.

Baaaam!!

"Aghhh!" The russian man voiced out the pain he felt.

The kick hit his neck and hears a cracked bone noise. It seems even though he had an armour suit, the power of Kaios was super strong plus he even bent the metal armor.

After what he did, Kai perfectly landed on the ground like an agile cat. He immediately ran to Tony to check his situation.

"Mr. Stark!!! Are you okay?!" Kai asked in a caring tone.

He saw Tony was on the ground laying there. His eyes were closed and his face was so dirty that he looked like a soldier fighting in a war. Kaios checked his breathing and pulse. There's nothing wrong with him but it seems he lost his consciousness.

Kai continuously shaked his body to wake him up but nothing happened. 

"MR. STARK! WAKE UP! WAKE UP YOU PIECE OF SHIT!!" Kai said.

"Cyka blyat! You brokeeee mah neck, you bastard!" 

*Cracked*

The guy got back again after he cracked his neck to return it to its former state. After that, he picked up his whip and ran towards them wanting to attack.

"OHHH!! COMRADE! Can we just talk about this? I will treat you to a free drink afterward." Kai said in a cheerful voice when he noticed that the guy was a russian.

But the man continued to run to his place. If Kai has his weapons he could defeat the man. He only brings his weapons if he has a mission but if he were in public, he couldn't bring it since it will raise many suspicions from the public, especially if he would use his power or magic. Humans were bound to be scared of mysterious things they encountered, they became paranoid or maybe some greedy people would have interest to know the existence of those kinds of power, especially magic, to use it for their own interests.

In this moment, Kai was in a bad situation because one of the weaknesses of Kai was lightning, if the whip had powerful energy that could melt a metal which means if it would hit him, he would die in a horrible way. However, he could still fight him by using his brain.

"TONY WAKE UP!!" Kai cried out and now he slapped the cheeks and mouth of Tony for many times.

Tony who was in his dream suddenly woke up eventually. He felt the pain on his face but the moment he saw the situation, he turned serious and stood up.

"YOU'RE AWAKE!! WHERE'S YOUR SUIT!?" Kai told him.

"OH FUCK HE'S HERE, STEP BACK!!" Kai added when the russian man was near their location.

The man had a grinning face when he found out when it was the right time to whip them. 

"Diee!!" The guy cursed.

"VRRROOOMMM!!"

He wanted to slashed the whip but he was pushed by a car and stuck on a barricade.

"GET BACK! GET BACK! NO I MEAN DRIVE! STOP HIM!" Pepper cried out inside of the car.

"I KNOW I KNOW!" Happy replied while reversing and moving forward the car.

"Get the suit Tony! I will help them to remove them from the car. The whip was dangerous enough to cut them in half! Go!" Kai commanded Tony and ran towards the car.

Tony followed him eventually since it was a good plan.

"Give me the suitcase, Pepper! Faster!" Tony said.

"Here! Happy stop for a moment, I'm trying to give this to him!" Pepper tried to give the suit but she couldn't because of the move forward and backward of the car.

"You know I can't do that since the Kai is still alive! LOOK OUT!!" Happy shouted.

The man was still kicking his ass, striking them with his electrical whip hitting the car which melted and cut some of its body parts.

"SHIT! HE WILL TARGET YOU!" Kai cursed.

Kai immediately opened the car and grabbed Happy to help him to avoid the incoming attack. 

"Get away far away from here!" Kai added.

Kai went to Pepper but he grabbed the suitcase first and threw it to Tony. Then he grabbed Pepper to get her away from harm.

"Catch, Mr. Stark!" Kai said.

"Nice throw, Kid." Tony grinned.

Tony immediately put his finger on a biometric scanner then the suitcase opened afterward. He didn't waste more time as he stepped on it while pulling the suit upward to wear it. 

"Welcome back again, Mr. Stark. It seems you had a good time." JARVIS sarcastically said.

"Well It's true because I will give this masochist a hard time." Tony said as he flew.

Meanwhile, Kai let go of her hands after he secured a safety place for Pepper. Then he looked back again towards the two people fighting with each other.

"Damn, I didn't win the race." Kai sadly commented.

"Youu little rascal!! You didn't listen to me!" Pepper scolded him while pinching his ears.

"AHHHH! Why are you pinching my ears!" Kai replied.

"I have enough of this! You and Tony always give me a heart attack everytime you two magnet many troubles." Pepper added since she was really in a bad mood this time.

Kai wryly smiled as he scratched his head.

'Well it's true since this time, Chaos Energy was abundant because of the fight of these two people.' He said in his mind.

Kai felt the chaos energy around him and it was abundant. He immediately pulled them towards him to cultivate it before it would fade away since more likely in a good situation after he wore the suit.

Tony kicked the man and threw a repulsor beam but it was blocked by his energy whip and absorbed it.

The guy countered and used his whips to trap Tony, trying to pulverize him. But he didn't know that the energy gave more power to Tony.

Tony immediately broke the whips from his body and threw his beams after it met a high percentage of power.

"Boooom!"

The guy flew away and fell to the ground. He tried to stand up but he couldn't since his body gave up after the exchange. More on that, the police already surrounded him, that's why he surrendered eventually.

"Hahahahaha!! You lose!" The man laughed like a madman and spat his blood.

Tony also stopped since the fight ended. He was curious about what he said and he thought he should visit the man later.

"Haaaa! Am I really attracting troubles?" Kai commented.

"Are you okay, Tony?" Pepper asked in a caring tone.

"I almost pissed my pants." Happy comment.

"So what should we do next, Mr. Stark?" Kaios asked, trying to figure out his next actions.

"Hmmm. We should get a rest for a moment. Are guys alright?" Tony replied.

The three returned to the hotel to have some rest after they were treated for their injuries. 

"Nataliee!" Kai became energetic the moment he saw her.

"Are you guys alright?" Natasha looked at them while touching the face of Kaios.

"I'm hurt, Natalie!" Kai replied.

"Where?" Natasha said.

"In here." Kai acted like a pitiful puppy while pointing his heart.

Natasha's eyebrows twitched. It seems Kaios have the guts to flirt with her after the shitshow that happened just an hour ago.

"Point you head, Kaios. You have more problems on that part." Tony commented.

"What did you just say, stupid Tin Can Man?!" Kaios grumbled.

<After 2 days>

In a room, many people were watching a video of the event from two days ago. It was a video of a young man standing on a moving speedy race car. Then a man jumped forward, many people were gasping because they thought the young man would die from a high voltage energy whip, but they were shocked even some of them stood from their chair after they saw him do an impossible reversal side flip and landed a kick perfectly at the man's neck.

"T-that was impossible! He was on the air for a second after he jumped from the car but it was impossible to do that move without a stepping stone!" One of the agents immediately gave his opinion.

"True. It was impossible to do that. Is this edited?" Followed by others.

After many opinions about the video, one man noticed it even though it was impossible.

"It seems he used the speed of the car after the jump to have a small time of freefall. While in Air, he used the air resistance to gather a small amount of time and predicted the direction of incoming attacks." Barton finally spoke up.

"Yes. Many people would do the stunt first before they jump but this young man made an impossible move like he had a stepping stone in the air to do that move. Plus, that kick. I wonder if his legs were in a good state because the force of the attack was strong enough to bend the metal suit protecting the neck of that man enough to break the leg of the Young Man." Phil Coulson added.

The room went silently but Fury who was silent and hearing their answers, he looked to Natasha who was sitting quietly. 

"Are there any opinions regarding this stunts he did, Agent Romanoff?" Fury asked.

"After the kick, his right leg was in perfect condition. Based on the stunts he did, his flexibility, coordination, and intellect was a big factor that he could move that impossible stunt." Natasha commented but faced Fury.

"What are you trying to do, Fury?" Natasha squinted her eyes on Fury.

Fury went silently and smiled in the end. Then he stood up while changing the screen to showcase the profile of Kaios.

"Kaios Ivanov, Age: 10 years old, Height: 167.64 cm. Nationality: Russian. Origin: Born in Russia. Some of these were fake as fuck. Especially his Nationality and Origin. It was fabricated by some paid officials in that country by an Ex-KGB agent named White Bear -, Yes what is it, Agent Barton?" Fury discussed then asked Clint.

"I encountered him before but how is this 10 year old in the height of that big is enough for us to be threatened by what he did? Is he Mutant?" Clint said since he also encountered many mutants before.

"That's a good question, Agent Clint." Fury said but instead of answering it, he looked to Natasha.

Seeing the gaze of his co-workers, Natasha sighed and decided to give her report.

"Kaios Ivanov, he was an experimented subject of The Salamander. I met him before when I was ...…" Natasha explained it to them giving more information regarding Kaios.

After she explained all of it. The room went silent but Coulson asked.

"So does that mean he is mini Captain America?" Coulson said as he was a huge fan of Captain America.

"Yes he was, Agent Coulson. Also, there are more possible mini soldiers like him that escaped and lived a normal life in a Village somewhere in Russia. Additionally, his foster brothers and sisters were also like him." Fury said.

"What?! There's more? Then what should we do, Sir?" One of the bald agents abruptly asked.

"We need them to-" Fury wanted to say something.

"They're not a threat, Fury! They were kids who wanted a normal life away from the nightmare they experienced!" Natasha looked sternly at him.

"Then tell me, Agent Romanoff. How can you tell that they're not a threat?" Fury asked.

"Most of them were normal kids because the serum I bought was a trash serum created by a useless scientist. He was the only person I knew that could possibly be a super soldier." Natasha explained.

Natasha was fond of kids because she experienced the prison of nightmare when she was trained in Redroom. That's why she would do her best to convince them that the children were not dangerous.

"What about the six kids who were the family of Kaios. Did you also know that they were not a super soldier like him?" Fury said.

"I-I don't know about them but I can tell they were normal kids!" Natasha said.

"Shut the hell up, Agent Romanoff. You are defending them because you were affected by your emotions. I don't believe what you just said without backup evidence. You don't have any evidence that they were normal kids -" Fury said harshly.

"If I may, Sir? Since Agent Romanoff was close to that Kid. How about we used their relationship to gather information about the other kids?" Clint Barton immediately defended Natasha since she was close to him.

"How about that, Agent Romanoff? Can you do that?" Fury didn't reply to Clint but instead asked Nastasha.

"Yes."

"But it's not enough to tell that they were not a threat." Fury slowly said while grinning.

Fury thought of a good plan since it was to protect the world.

"What is it?" Natasha asked.

"Gather information about the present him especially he was close to the son of the founder of the SHIELD plus I want him to join the organization and become our agent." Fury answered.

"What? You can't do that, especially his kid?" Coulson said.

"Then let him be our youngest agent in the history of SHIELD. Since you said he was not a threat but for me he was a weapon that was dangerous enough if  he couldn't be controlled, Agent Romanoff. That's why I want you to prove to me that he is not a danger but an individual who could contribute to humanity and also to this world. Can you do that, Agent Romanoff?" Fury seriously asked.

Natasha who was in a dilemma. She was thinking deeply of what would happen in many different routes.

"Yes, Sir." Natasha agreed.

Since Kai was in the Shield's radar, she must do her best to protect him and she thought it wasn't a bad idea to join him in the organization since she could also watch and guide him when he would become an agent.

Only they don't know, there's more about Kaios. Fury thought that it was a good choice inviting him in the SHIELD rather than eliminating the threat like Kai because he could use him for the good purposes.  However, he was wrong, maybe eliminating him was the correct choice because Kaios was unpredictable motherfu*ker.
