The story's strengths are the rich lore and sci-fi world in which it is set. The writing is weak, but the story is very enjoyable. I really enjoyed it. It's like a teenie bopper Interview with a Vampire meets Marvel Superheroes. With work, it could be a masterpiece, but I think the MC is a little weak compared to basically every other character. This would make an absolutely fantastic TV series if given a decent budget.

Second vampire book I have ever read the first one being The Valerian Empire. This is another great novel by the author. Makes you fall in love with the lead character. Every stone spent is worth it.
