Thousands of years ago, the world was in the Age of Chaos, a time when magic was newly discovered and humanity was struggling to understand the power of mana. As magic developed, great wars began, and humanity came close to being destroyed by the very power it had created.
At that time, twelve ancient cores descended from the sky and changed the fate of the world. Each core chose a worthy successor and granted them unique powers. However, over time, some of the cores disappeared, leaving behind only forgotten legends.
Among these cores, one was completely different from the others.
The Sword Core.
Unlike the others, this mysterious power did not choose mages. It chose sword users and became an ancient legacy known by very few. During the great war against the Sky Army in the era of the First Sword Master, sword users became humanity's final hope. However, after that battle, the existence of sword users was erased from history, and the Sword Core vanished.
Thousands of years later, the Supreme Mage Astralis made an impossible discovery deep within the dungeon. This discovery would bring back a forgotten secret from the world's history.
Rei grew up as a child with an unknown past. He could not use magic, possessed no mana core, and was treated as someone different by everyone around him. However, within him slept an ancient power that even he did not understand.
