only on chapter 61 but so far I think this book is really great. the part with all the family members dying honestly almost made me cry so thats a plus. its a good thing that it was machines that got them and not humans. personal idea, try to advance the research of the machines a bit. it would be cool if they had like mantis blade things which if you don't know comes from cyberpunk. if there was anything I had a problem with it would be all the r@pists and blank eyed little girls. just trying to give my personal opinion. great book 10/10 would read again.

Its an okay read, very slow when I read thru it, slow story for just the author trying to build up characters and too much dialog for inner thoughts. Yes the thought insect part it's neat feels more of a slice of life casual. Up to chapter 200 you'll be reading about a tiny hand sized mantis. main character gets babysit most of the time. and typical academic arch. Battles in the writing simple nothing to make you want to over imagine stuff. Mantis use spore whip ahh omg mantis is amazing master Theo. Could of been more gore themed horror world. Just my take not worth the coins.
