PAWN OF EMOTIONS
In a prestigious European art academy nestled in a rain-washed city, Andrew is quiet, observant, and secretly in love with Emma, his childhood friend. But Emma's heart is pulled elsewhere toward Jason, the enigmatic rebel who wears pain like perfume. As Emma and Jason fall into a love that burns hot and cold, Andrew watches in silence, his feelings buried beneath layers of loyalty and fear.
Alongside them is Kate, a brilliant writer who silently yearns for Andrew, though Emma’s lingering presence makes her affection feel like trespass. A complicated dance of glances, silence, and misread signals ensues, with all four hearts slowly unraveling in their final years at the academy.
But things begin to shift during a national poetry competition. As Andrew is forced into the spotlight, he discovers a latent power rooted in a forgotten bloodline the Whitmore lineage, protectors of something ancient. When he’s accepted into the elusive Halberd University, he’s pulled into a hidden world where magic is real, heritage is dangerous, and the self is never whole.
Separated by destiny, Andrew’s past refuses to let go. Meanwhile, Emma begins to sense a mystery behind Jason’s glowing eyes, and Kate grapples with the bitter truth of unrequited love turned resentment. At Halberd, Andrew battles not only ancient forces but himself Whitmore, a darker personality born of his power.
As friendships fracture, secrets surface, and the supernatural bleeds into the mundane, Pawn of Emotions becomes a haunting tale of love left unsaid, power discovered too late, and the price of choosing feeling over fate.

I'm surprised no one else has reviewed this because it's really good. So far it's developing not too slow and not too fast either. Very interesting seeing how she deals with an abusive family, thoughhhh I'm like waiting for her to have an outburst of emotions, each chapter, where she insults them 😇 Keep up da good work (thumbs up emoji)
