This novel is quite different from your usual trope of Chinese novels but the thing is that the novel doesn't feel like it's progressing much and it starts becoming slightly repetitive because all you see are just different people getting to know the restaurant. The same restaurant and food ****** scene is becoming a bit monotonous. There are a few obvious plot holes but hopefully they'll be solved a s the story progresses. The translation quality is more or less excellent except for occasional typos and grammatical errors. The latest arc seems promising and hopefully it doesn't continue to be monotonous.
