Jiang Chen never expected to find himself in a world of cultivation, let alone as a core disciple of a famous sect. Destined to play the villain’s role, his future was full of trouble. He had plotted against the protagonist, crippling his dantian and turning him into a disgraced outcast, barely holding onto his place in the sect. If not for a surprising twist, Jiang Chen’s story might have ended as a small chapter in the protagonist’s grand journey. Understanding how risky his position was, Jiang Chen gave a sly grin. Alone, he thought to himself: 'Is the protagonist strong? No doubt about it. But am I afraid? Definitely not. Why? Because I have the Immortal Great Villain System!' Then he paused, his expression changing slightly. 'Wait… there’s more than one protagonist?' Instead of feeling worried, his grin grew wider. 'Well, isn’t that perfect?' With a sharp glint in his eyes, Jiang Chen made a bold declaration to himself: 'As the ultimate Great Villain, I’ll defy Heaven’s will and stand at the top!'
I was enjoying it but i gave up at chapter of assessment. It doesn’t make any sense. Mc was professor for 4 years, had various students and then when a princess says he doesn’t know runes without any evidence, everyone believes her and people come to assess her claims. Story was okay till their but even before assessment starts, penut gallery the students that mc taught for past 4 years starts to make fun of him and question him like he is some protagonist of chinese novel where everyone insults him as soon as he appears. Like imagine when a student questions a respected teacher and some higher up comes next day to test the teacher. Every student that teacher taught will either keep quiet or stand with him but according to author when a teacher is questioned, students lose all respect for him instantly without any proof and can openly humiliate him. All these just so mc can faceslap them later.
