Sure mc is evil but he’s also very stupid and morally makes zero sense, firstly Itachi couldn’t have killed mcs younger brother as after killing Izumi family photo saw Itachi nearly break and offered to kill the woman and children so it wasn’t Itachi who killed them. Secondly Itachi was just a child and so was sasuke so the mc who has knowledge of two lives thus should be a bit mature and not act like a child and immediately kill Itachis brother. If you wanted the mc to be against Itachi you could’ve done it if he didn’t have memories of naruto but now that he does it makes no sense as he would’ve understood that killing the uchiha was the only choice Itachi had, add that to the fact that there would’ve been no way the mc would’ve been spared if he was in the clan compounds.
