as of chapter 127, the only significant plot hole in this novel surprisingly comes from Jackie. It's really unrealistic for Mercer not to consider that Jackie will not betray him if arasaka threatens to kill his mother. Didn't Mercer consider this at all when he's recruiting Jackie? What if he's blackmailed by arasaka, can he just abandon his mother for the group? and why didn't arasaka use Jackie's mother as a blackmail material when hunting Mercer group in the first place? as far as I know the only member that still has family is him. at the very least arasaka should've attempted it. overall it's great
