For me reading this,I feel like since you have previous knowledge of how Thor acts, it blinded you that he's an innocent child and no child starts out loud and expressive. You bloody built a an amazing relationship with Loki while alienating Thor. So he also had to act out and seek friends out of the family to build brotherhood with. So most of Thor's attitude is on the MC and Loki.
