early 20th century horror novel

Well...it's a weird one. But mostly it's unfocused. The main character doesn't have a specific direction to head towards. Which is a tragedy because this author is very creative and intelligent. This reads like a very early 19th century fantasy mixed with horror and Xianxia. I believe the author to be intelligent but also likely has taken drugs while planning this story.

The timeline is 15th century yet the language the characters speak is on par in advancement with the woman from the 20th century. The only thing respected was the lack of women’s rights and the need for honorifics. The fl was also kinda dumb but I’m pretty early in just 20 chapters so I know it’s too soon to judge if there will be character development but i just felt like writing a review.
