A big warning about this novel: if you dislike rape don't read the first chapter. This starts completely different then what you would expect from the title and description. I regret voting for this novel now. I'm out.

LIKEnot reading this book or anything but if an author wants readers then maybe he/she should think of a good start that would keep the readers' interest. It's the story's fault if it can't keep someone reading until the second chapter even if it gets to be the best novel on earth only relative to the later parts. Just saying, you read the **** you read so I'll keep quiet after saying this lol
You're right. Even if the overall story is not bad, the rape was cruel and unnecessary, I don't understand how the author wrote the mc with so little emotions towards it and even implied that she kind of accepts him because he is handsome. Yeah, but he is a rapist, and indulging his actions because the author doesn't care about it, it's disappointing. When I read the scene, I felt really bad for her, but it was like she herself didn't even care. And he violated her various times after that. I just feel like the author if he was raped he would not want to write it like that, like that kind of thing is of not importance for someone. The ML can be ruthless and stuff but he humiliating her in that way it's too much. Mixing rape and romance afterwards makes me feel sick.
The **** you on?? Books that start uninteresting don’t suddenly become good. Most often it’s the opposite with a interesting concept that the author came up with but couldn’t follow through with.
