I was the previous translator for this novel, and it's a great read to those of you guys who like OP mcs and the Litrpg genre in general. Translation quality: 3/5. Subpar, but definitely decent. Although there are many things I disagree on such as the various character names as well as the arbitrary switch from 'free points' to 'omni points', the translator doesn't fall short of other Qidian translators. I rewrote some entire parts to intensify the story as well as fight scenes to make the story better on my own discretion, but if the translator doesn't want to it's his decision. The editing is horrible though, if there's one thing Qidian needs it's better editors. Multiple typos, spelling mistakes and one out of every two sentences was badly phrased. Translation would've been 3.5/5 if it weren't for editor. So tempted to join Qidian as an editor. Stability of Updates: 5/5, since it's Qidian. I mean, duh. Story Development: 5/5. One of the best Litrpg/Magic novels, and the plot certainly isn't cliche. Character Design: Uh this is a CN novel so you obviously don't have character development. But the personalities of the various characters do remain consistent so a solid 3/5. World Background: 4/5. It does well on world-building too though it doesn't focus on that aspect. This novel has a good author.

No, I was actually kinda surprised that Qidian didn't copy and paste my translations like for AWE. I read through the translations and it seems legit. If you'd allow me to do a little self-promotion, I'd suggest reading on my site until chapter 63 before reverting to Qidian's one because of their technical issues. My first few translation chapters were horrid because of lack of experience but I think it went pretty well from chapter 50 onwards.

To be honest, we don't check whether there is a fan translator existed or not when we start a new project. Usually we start a new project, build up a stockpile first. During the stockpile building stage, it's possibile that other fan translators may take the certain title to translate. Although we technically are not intent to take any projects down, it still make some damages for these guys in some cases. I would suggest fan translators to contact us in advance before they start their translation to advoiding such damages in either side. If the selected title are not in oir translating list, we will agree you to provide a fan translation project. Even if the title in our translation list, we can still negotiate and seeing if we can stracture down a contract. I believe either of thses would still be better than current case.

Ah yes, I have no issues with Webnovel taking this up. The timing was actually godsend, since I had just begun to go on hiatus because I was busy with real life. As for for joining you guys, I really appreciate the offer, but I'm afraid I'll have to decline. Still busy. I will consider it if I have my eye on another novel though. Thanks!

It’s a fan translation, that means he did this mainly of his own choice, ergo he can do whatever he wants with it, there’s no restriction or “entity” behind him that sets rules or policies that he has to abide by. To be honest that’s very cool of translators to do that because some original texts are just plain boring, and the judgment of good translators to change some aspects “spices” the story up. After all, in some cases the bystander can see things that the author neglect or not refine upon.

There are lots of reasons. #1: The fight scene doesn't translate well and comes across poorly. #2: The authors ability in writing a story is 5/5 but writing fight scenes is 2/5 ... as a fan of the work, the tl took liberties during the translation. #3: Because s/he wanted to. #4: Because the author's sense of humour slipped into the story, when in reality, it didnt match with the character. For example, a serious and clever MC uncharacteristically doing something stupid but mildly amusing. I would definitely edit out dumb S* like that. #5: to remove unrealistic chatter between punches thrown, and all other unneccesary dialogue. Also remove 1,000 words of filler that stretches a 4 paragraph fight scene into 5 chapters. List goes on.
