LIKEIm not good at english though, cause its not my main language, but atleast i understand what other novel tell and the story line , but what is this novel story like , its just like what ? China literature with english translate, fvk my brain cant handle it , i think what this novel lacking is the translation from original language to english, not everyone people can read this kind translation. When i read this my brain think that i read it from mtl lol
It is true that Mao Ni novels need good translators otherwise the story can be lost in translation. I think TransN really needs a good editor which would help a lot.
you really just can't say that the story is garbage by reading the first 3 of 1088 chapters of the novel then rating it 1.5 star. sure the quality in translation is in need of editing but this novel is a completed work deserving of its luster of praise. so i hope those who gave their irresponsible ratings and reviews will update it as the translation soon catches up till the completion, i'm not asking for high ratings but a reasonable one because at the end of the day we have all different tastes for stories.
i don't blame the reviewer. Its true the story is fantastic but its also true the translation would drive people crazy. The novel in chinese has many environmental description to add atmosphere to the story and its very very difficult to translate unless the person translating it is a professional.
I disagree i think the translator did his best. Its just how the novel works. Its poetic. You dont expect him to translate the story into an understandable context without change how the novel is written. Lets just face it we came here for light novels. If we wanted to read stories like this one then western books is a better option. There just much difference between reading a translated and non translated.
