The three foreign gods want something from the planet but dont dare to cross some natural barrier. Then they all fled when they saw some mortals overwhelming the heavens? Try reading 2 to 3 times. Me too got confused in the beginning, but after it 3 times i understood the first chapters and the continuous chapters will easy based on the first.

But thats the point. Most of the content is lost from translated context and look like nursey riddles. Im not sure if other chapters after the first have the same confusion but just the first impression is leaving a bad after taste. Like dating new guys. Im sure he is nice but he gross me out before getting to know him.

When all novels start with confusing prologues to you, you must understand that it's your inability to understand and not that they're actually all confusing at the start.

Regardless of the translation I can tell you without knowing anything about the story you won’t clearly know what is going on. (Just read the comments.) You can only speculate since you don’t truly know the answer since the author hasn’t stated it clearly. The better the translation the easier it is to understand obviously. I’m stating the obvious about Mao Ni’s stories. You aren’t supposed to know what “specifically” is happening. He wants you to speculate. He wants you to try to find out the answer yourself.

The more you read and continue the story the more you will understand obviously, but based off the first chapter you can’t outright know what is going on. Like Titanreborned said above you have to continue reading to really understand some things.

Are you serious? you think I care about your impression? you said ALL NOVELS, what do you think all novels mean? perhaps all novels mean some? few? many? none? or all? Yes some questions are left unanswered on the first chapter and require further reading to understand but thats only some, that was literally what I said.
