TGR starts off with an interesting concept that makes you want to know what happened to the main character. In my opinion, the hype sadly wasn't worth the wait in finding out. Despite this, the main character isn't a scumlord and doesn't somehow attract every person in existence. Sadly, TGR does a lot of things decently, but nothing really stands out, which would normally make me give a series 4 stars. The reason I'm giving it 3 stars instead is because the foreshadowing is just awful. Foreshadowing is a great tool for a author to build some hype for the characters, but this series will literally tell you exactly what's going to happen before it happens! For instance, main character found x, main character is now at a bottleneck and can't comprehend x, suddenly main character needs a solution. That thing he found 20 chapters ago, x, is the solution! This happens quite frequently and just ruined the story for me. <<less 2 Likes · Like Permalink | Report Datura More reviews Jul 26, 2017 Status: -- I already finished it on MTL, so... : The story is "okay" like another usual xianxia and wuxia novel, but what disappointed me the most is the final battle and the ending. The problem is not only that, in the end, there is no explanation for the other...
