Sorry(but both happy) to inform you guys that I will stop any kind of update about Thriller Paradise. The reason of that is Qi contacted with me and promised that [LonelyTree] (the first guy on review panel) will take the translate work of TP in the future. This will be disposed soon. Thanks all my supporters and people who viewed and commented my work. Anyway, I'll still be a fan of Thriller Paradise and Feng Bujue.

TLDR: Qidian sucks, they either lied or are grossly incompetent(huge chance it might be both). Continue translating if you wish, Qidian can't do anything to you, they're all bark and no bite. The novel isn't popular enough for them to bother translating it so they'd rather spend money on translators to translate garbage cultivation cliched tropes. Unfortunately, even though the novel has no real value to them anymore since it still "belongs" to them they also won't allow others to officially translate(even fan translate such as yours) due to the possibility of it creating a legal precedence where other entities could just copy their novels and ask money for it (which is pretty ironic considering it's coming from a nation known not to care about intelectual property). Not sure if what they told you is a complete lie or not, but the fact that it's been more than 3 months and we still have no announcement or progress speaks for itself. It's a shame that some of the better novels on this site suffer from poor translations/no translation while fast food novels get treated like kings. IMO, you should just continue your fan-translation. You haven't been asking for money or anything of the like so they can't sue you or ask for damages, hell you can even make a claim for abandonment since there hasn't been an official update in more than a year.

Mailed to Qi again today. That guy told me that with the speed of LonelyTree he should be almost done right now. I'll just wait for one more month and if nothing is on Webnovel, very well then, I will continue my work.
