I wish this wasn't banned, it's such a great book. Especially considering we were only a few hundred chapters from the end. The protagonist is by far the best part, but even without him it can still stand on its own two feet. The setting is very unique, characters outside the protagonist are well-written, and the author is really good at setting up big payoffs. The only real criticism I can think of is that the protagonist's "cheat" the Spring Autumn Cicada does take out some of the tension, but overall I still think that it's interesting part of the story and helps develop just how dangerous the world is. Lucky for us the author has another story he's writing, Infinite Bloodcore. I haven't read it yet, I'm waiting for a good opportunity now that I've finished this book, but I hear it's good.

The CCP banned it and as far as I know haven't given a reason, but in my opinion it's either because of the anti-government ideals expressed in the earlier chapters, or the extremely individualistic view of the protagonist. The author seems pretty confident the ban will be lifted though, and says he definitely wants to finish it, although that could be after Infinite Bloodcore is finished.

I forgot to mention, you can find Infinite Bloodcore online. It's my understanding that Bloodcoretl is where Skyfarrow was translating, although it looks like he may have passed on that role to someone else. Webnovel does have some chapters up, but as of now it's significantly less than Bloodcoretl and it doesn't look like it's going to get new chapters.
