I don't understand what is so appealing about this LN. Story is about one really good player beating old rivals-teammates. A lot of the mid chapters juat feel like fillers or grinding in the game, really boring imo.

LIKEThis is how I see it too. It's hilarious how everyone kept stroking each other's dic*s when they praise it as flawless and everything. This is so dull. The anime is passable coz' I don't have to torment myself on reading the repetitive narrations about how good and fast the MC clicks and sh*t.
If you're not used to reading quality books of course you can't appreciate this book. Read the the story and nuances, the hints, the messages between the lines... Honestly I don't expect this level of writing by a webnovelist, it's like reading Harry Potter or George RR Martin's Game of Thrones book series. Top notch storytelling. You can't read it straightforward like other webnovels or it'll be very dull. The immersive experience only happens as you slowly understand everything.
The reason GRRM's novels didn't get any attention for almost 2 decades coz' it sucks. I read it when I'm still drunk on GOT craze, so yeah up to season 4. Read till A feast for crows, stop mid way when I realized that it really sucked. Harry Potter is the schiznit though, not gonna lie. But maybe because I'm biased with school/academy settings.

How about Reincarnation of Strongest Sword God? The chapters was more about filler and the author may try to put the reader understanding other characters personality but it no avail because more people bashing him with that kind of writing. Not me I'm quite enjoy the novel as it rare novel in Reincarnation tag which didn't applied romance into it for now. So what the different between this novel and this The King's Avatar?

Uhm, what? No one said anything about reincarnation of the strongest sword god. Don't think I even touched that novel.

You will appreciate this novel more as you get older. Young readers tend to cherish simplistic stories where the protagonist fight and defeat everyone that stands in his way. They don't like great books and great movies because they think it is "boring". But as they get more mature, their preferences will change. Wait... How old are you again?

Nah it's like watching paint, dry. The narrations are way too long and there's barely any dialogue or social interactions per chapter. And even if there's one, it's not something that would make you keep reading. He doesn't even have any goals, he just keeps playing. Don't have any plans to get rich out of it, nor want fame coz' he stays anonymous. It's the same old time attacks over and over again and OP character like in any other RPG related LNs, I just don't see why everybody used to hype on this.

Different people different preferences. That is all I can say. Just like how a fish that lives in shallow water will never understand the beauty of deep ocean and vice versa
